Despite these being first drafts, I can see what an outstandingly good writer you are, and I'm sorry that your family loss last year set you back. Should you network? By all means do anything you feel might help because no one else is gong to promote your work. I sent mine to hundreds of agents/publishers before coming here, and it was only by climbing the Authonomy ranks that publishers started to notice, and now I have a deal. So keep at it, believe in yoruself, and here's a backing to send you on your way. Best wishes, Tony.

A Very Good Place To Start

Hi Rob,

I think I have read and backed All That Glisters already but we will test that out in a minute when I go and back it. I love the idea of these good places to start, it gives me an opportunity to explore the versatility of your writing talent and I really like what I see. The most impressive thing apart from the breadth of your imagination is the tautness of your writing, each sentence is a tight thread delivering only either story or character or setting. You have a very focussed and disciplined style and it made me think about how hard it is to edit your own work to this high standard.

Impressive writing skills, I will go ahead and back everything you have uploaded because I can’t bear to see anything this good with a red arrow beside it.

Best wishes and good luck
Andrew W
