A PEOPLE AFTER GOD: A JOURNEY OF RENEWED PASSION FOR INTIMACY WITH GOD

Denis Ekobena

“As believers, we must desire to know the ways of God more than just His miracles and acts”

There is a wave of revival coming! It will come through men and women who are broken in the secret place of prayer, the inner court of God’s presence. It will come through people who seek time alone in His presence without anyone knowing. True revival will start with men who rent their hearts in private and not their garments in public.
If we want to see the works of God on the earth in our generation, we must be a people after God. My prayer is that of Habakkuk, “Lord, I have heard of your fame; I stand in awe of your deeds, O Lord Renew them in our day, in our time make them known…” May God renew His deeds in our day. May He make them known to this generation! We have heard of God’s fame through men like, Charles Wesley, founder of the Methodist movement, and Charles Finney, who in his day, whole villages and cities were converted. Men like William Seymour, who was the pioneer for the Azusa revival in 1906; a springboard for world Pentecostalism. Now is our time. Let us arise and shake the world for Jesus.

Whenever one aspires to draw people closer to God it is a worthy occupation and this is a worthy read! Keep seeking after God and inspiring others to, too!

This is an inspiring book, congratulations and God bless you as you seek to have it published.
Two points: your second chapter is labelled chapter 1 and there is no chapter 2;
and you need a good copy edit to correct the few spelling mistakes and check the grammar.
Hope you do well

Dear Denis, You are a man after God's own heart. Wonderful book with introduction, titles, & power points at the end of each chapter. :) Fantastic that you scriptures to back up each topic. God says well done, good & faithful servant. May Jesus anoint you to finish this book & many others - the gospel heard round the world. :)Praise God for authonomy!! Jesus said, "This kind goeth not out but by prayer & fasting to his disciples," so I know you will get to that. Falling on out face & on our knees before God is throughout the whole Bible, so you already have the key in this book. God bless you!! Of course, I'm backing your book. :) Please take a moment to back my TWO books, ... "He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not" ... and the UNEDITED version ... "Tell Me True Love Stories"
Thanks, Susie :)

Your book is full of inspiration and Bible truths. You have struck a pulse much needed in the church today. Revival is happening all around. I remember, particularly, the Asbury Revival that hit Anderson in 1970 (+/- a few years possibly). It spread from there to Michigan. I still remember the experience. Pastors couldn't get sermons in because of the long lines of people giving praise testimonies and people becoming saved. Great work here. You have a good start. Backed your book.

Thanks

This is very good-very enlightening. It gives good instruction, especially to those whose hearts are for God, and want the Lord to live in them, but they just don't know where to start.

This is truly 'Holy-Spirit inspired'

Thanks for your remarks and correction. Those will seek Him will find. By the grace of the Father we can write something positive and powerful that will turn men to Him.

Denis,

Your pitch and title caught my attention immediately and reassured my heart in knowing that more writers are out there who care about more than just writing a good professional story. You are trying to gain the attention of souls to awaken to the realization of God's goodness, power, and glory. Jesus exemplified prayer so much that this was the one things His disciples wanted Him to teach them. After every message, miracle, and encouragement Jesus put more of His attention on prayer. What a great book...!

(Note: I think you may have meant 'Renew(ed)' Passion for Intimacy w/ God)

"Much Prayer, Much Power"
"Little Prayer, Little Power"
No Prayer, No Power"

If possible please take some time to checkout "Faith, Foolishness, & Familiarity" -

With Regards,

Mark
