Dear Rion, What a combo, I love historical, fiction, fantasy, & Christian. :) Your story is a good read because you create interest by having short paragraphs & lots of dialogue which makes me want to keep reading to find out what's going to happen next. May God bless you & give you the wisdom your book to fill in all of the blanks. I'm happy to back it. :) Please take a moment to BACK my TWO Books, ... "He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not" ... and the UNEDITED version? ... "Tell Me True Love Stories"
Thanks, Susie :)

Found this by accident but, intrigued that it started at chapter 13, I read on and quite got into it. You set your scene very well and there is information here without it being overly 'teachy'. Brigitte is an engaging MC becuase she is fallable. Don't hide this away, something good is going on here. I always liked Rosemary Sutcliffe's books and this has a strong flavour of hers. Your book is terrific, skillfully crafted in such a way to give a whole new life to little known, dusty history. The little known Iceni queen was quite a marvelous warrior who suffered greatly for her people. You capture the life and times beautifully. I like the way you have brought ancient history into a contempory feeling that any non history buff could appreciate. You have threaded old mythology and legends to make the story appeal to the modern reader. There is almost nothing known about the Druids of that time period except that they left behind some scattered symbolic writing called Ogham. You have given a fresh, imaginative look

You have a wonderfully told, engaging story that should do well.
As a criticsm, I would encourage you to read lots of pitches in this site. Your pitch needs a lot of work. It does not compel people to check out your book. There is no wonder, emotion or reason to captivatedly interested in your work in your pitch. I am sure that with all the talent you have shown in this book, you can create a pitch that better sells it.
