What a great premise! Have you submitted to Marcher Lord Press?

This is by no means a new premise, but you have given it your own twists that make this something unique and enjoyable. I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Backed with pleasure.

Patrick: I can go with the short pitch. I can also go with the long pitch but it should be broken up into smaller paragraphs so it reads faster. Perfecting your pitches is how you climb in ranking to gather more exposure and comments to better your novel. The writing is good so I am SHELVING you.

Though I have been a very active member for over a year, I can still use your comments on my book when you get the chance. Every little bit helps. Cheers!

This is an intriguing story. I can't imagine what it would feel like to wake up 500 years into the future so that makes Jean-Paul an interesting character as he's faced to explore what that feels like. You've obviously put a lot of thought into what a future world will be like; the details you're able to supply because of that make this feel real. If I have a suggestion at all, it's that I'd think Jean-Paul would be stiff and sore after being in a cramped position all those years - you might make more of that. Either way, this is a good read. I'm adding this to my shelf. Burgio (Grain of Salt).

I'm hooked in on your first chapter. Good setting, good premise. You have some minor issues with grammar, especially in your dialogue. Some minor editing should tidy that up, no problem.

Backed for its potential. Nice work.
