5hit Stories

William A. White

If you like crude, silly, rude, gory, stupid, pointless, nonsensical stories - then you'll love these. Warped, bizarre but fun nevertheless.

5Hit the bed, 5Hit Stories is now available to BUY at

5hit Stories is a collection of short stories from a truly warped mind. If you like crude, silly, rude, gory, stupid, pointless, nonsensical tales - then you'll love these. All bizarre but all fun nevertheless. Meet a meat grinder with misplaced compassion, a foppish flock of one hell bent on vengeance, a dim-witted but lovable squirrel with a dark and secret past... plus a whole host of other crazy creature creations each with their own nuisances.

Hi William,

I have backed your book because I was hooked by the pitch, loved the introduction and read on. How much more I read depends on time and commitment.

Enjoy everything and good luck.

i will back you. there is some clumsiness to the way you introduce and set of your book. but your writing is faultless, so well done for that...

Welcome aboard, William. This website will improve your writing craft, if you allow it. You have to think of your pitches as your sales tool to grab the casual reader's eyes. Both of these pitches needs work. You need to SHOW and not TELL what this short story collection theme is. Never use dialogue as the pitch itself as well. Perfecting your pitches is how you climb in ranking to gather more exposure and comments to better your novel. The writing is good so I am SHELVING you.

Though I have been a very active member for over a year, I can still use your comments on my book when you get the chance. Every little bit helps. Cheers!

Dear William, I love your phrase, "My gift to you is my mind, tamed & edited - or vise versa" :) - that's me memoir that I will name below. ") You wrote great stories - I have several short story books - I'll never forget "The Lottery" story. :) Before I began to read your book, I was prepared by your recap/pitch,which was very well done. :) Your story is good because you create interest by having short paragraphs & lots of dialogue, which makes me want to keep reading to find out what's going to happen next. I'm "backing" your book: When you back a book, it only improves the ranking of that book, not yours. However, the author whose book you are backing may decide to back your book also, in which case yes, your ranking would be improved...authonomy. :) Please "back" my TWO memoir books, "He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not" & my completed memoir unedited version? "Tell Me True Love Stories," which tells at the end, my illness now & 6th abusive marriage." Thanks, Susie :)
p.s. Remember: Every time you place a book on your bookshelf, your recommendation pushes the book up the rankings. And while that book sits on your bookshelf, your reputation as a talent spotter increases depending on how well that book performs. :)

A book that should win the prize for best title, this is a unique collection of stories. As advertized, they’re all short and easy to read. And all a little crazy. I’m adding this to my shelf. Burgio (Grain of Salt).
