Welcome aboard, Mitchell. This website will improve your writing craft, if you allow it. I'm a bit of a pitch doctor, having read thousands of pitches in my time on this website, so I want to share my insight here with you. You have to think of your pitches as your sales tool to grab the casual reader's eyes. Both pitches work for this genre. Perfecting your pitches is how you climb in ranking to gather more exposure and comments to better your novel. The writing is good so I am SHELVING you.

Though I have been a very active member for over a year and have the most commented book on the website, I can still use your comments on my book when you get the chance. Every little bit helps. Cheers!

Mitchell,

This was a very inspirational devotional into living life victorious through Christ Jesus!! Your message is powerful and invigorating. The only comment I would make is that your writing style needs a little perfecting, I found it choppy at points and while your message shines through it, I imagine you would like to get published. I hope my suggestion does not upset you, but inspire you. Your message should be heard.

Backed with pleasure

Hi Mitchell, A very interesting subject, the analysis of a person’s thoughts and their origin. I liked the format here because the questions are pertinent. The answers seem well-founded in scripture besides your keeping a contemporary language to your writing. It’s very accessible and thought-provoking. Shelved – Katherine (The Swan Bonnet)

Very well structured and thought out book. Your knowledge is very good, however it was the congruence and the spirit this was written with that did impress me.

As a devout Christian you make your points loud and clear and your message is consistent - always a good thing. Also you know the Scriptures very well and use them to great effectiveness. Your easy-to-read writing style is perfect for this genre of book. Backed.

Love the opening. My husband never hears me when he's sitting next to me. I'd try the slipper but he might get to like it.
Your tone is so lovely, Mitchell, so warm and amusing. What you say seems obvious, but most of us need people like you to work it out for us first. What you say re: Christians and the voice of Satan is very interesting. I'm still reading but will back it now and wish the very best for it. We need the way you think. lynn

Hello Mitchell, wowo you just give it in your short pitch and congrats on that. You have written a thought provoking read, which is to be commended, your faith and strength shines thru this work. It is motivational and I do like books that get me to feel and think.......My book is a different genre and this is the beauty of the site, the ability to read that which we would not normally read. ...so if you would review, comment and back my book....i would be so happy. thanks and again BEST of LUCK ...BACKED by me..

You are an inspiration and this will change a lot of lives. I hope its success is shown in the success its readers will have after reading it. Backed. For a bit of fun you could read mine, it is a respectful comedy named God, the Son and the holy Dwarf.

WALK IN LIFE
This is a thought provoking book. I think you’ll find a wide audience of born again Christians who find this inspiring and would take it down from a bookstore shelf. The mark of it is the sincerity with which it is written. I’m adding this to my shelf. Burgio (Grain of Salt).

Dear Mitchell, I got so excited when I saw that you had backed, "He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not." :) Thanks so very much. :) Since I have already backed your book, I will put your book on my watchlist. Could you please take a moment to back my completed unedited memoir version? "Tell Me True Love Stories," which at the end tells of my illness now & 6th abusive marriage. I'd be ever so grateful. :) Thank you. :) Love, Susie :)
authonomy quotes: "Every time you place a book on your bookshelf, your recommendation pushes the book up the rankings. And while that book sits on your bookshelf, your reputation as a talent spotter increases depending on how well that book performs.
When you back a book, it only improves the ranking of that book, not yours. However, the author whose book you are backing may decide to back your book also, in which case yes, your ranking would be improved...authonomy

Dear Mitchell, I love that you are rightly dividing the work of truth. :) God bless you. :) May you write many more books. :) Your pitch is excellent, so set the hook for me to read your book. :) When you use short paragraphs & lots of dialogue, it makes me want to keep reading to find out what's going to happen next. I'm backing your book. :)
Could you please take a moment to back my TWO memoir books? Thanks, Susie :)
