Ansley N. Mathis

Have you been suffering for God's Sake? If so, you're not the only one. This is actually the calling of every Christian. Find out!

Have you been suffering for God's Sake? If so, you're not the only one. This is actually the calling of every Christian. Find out more in this Book that will encourage you and reassure you that living for Christ is worth any persecution and all suffering because He is our reward! God given rewards aren't just passed out in eternity but God will reward you now and later for picking up your cross and following Him.This concept may be rare to our society today, but Self Denial is the foundation of the Gospel message. We are called to lay down our lives for God, and in doing so, we lay down our lives for Others. So, the rewards aren't just about us but others reap the fruit of our Labor and best of all God is glorified. Nothing else can compare to Living for God. It's Worth It!!

Dear Ansley, I love that you are showing the Way - pleasing Jesus - using the scriptures & then your prayers at the end of the chapters are dynamite. :) Yes, He will bottle our tears & they are written in HIs book. :) Amazing - I just read & wrote again Col. 3:23 & 24 this morning in my date book (it's now almost 5pm Pacific Daylight Time) that we are to do everything heartily unto the Lord of Whom we'll receive the reward for it's He Who we are serving - I write scriptures when I want to re-memorize them. :) Thank you for writing your instructional book & may you write many more for our Lord. :) Your pitch, table of contents, & introduction are excellent, so set the hook for me to read your book. :) Your large lettering & spacing are fantastic to make for an easy read. :) When you use short paragraphs, it helps me to want to keep reading to find out what you'll say next. :) I'm backing your book. :) Could you please take a moment to back my 2 memoir/testimony books? Thanks. :) Love, Susie :)

Ansley: I jumped in on Chapter 9 and this captures your audience perfectly. You know what you are after and you achieve it. The enthusiasm in both pitches worked for me. BACKED!

I can use your comments on my book when you get a chance. Cheers!

Dear Ansley
In your short pitch , there seems a typo, "have been you suffering," well i think it is . your long pitch really grabbed me and I had to read on. You have put questions in my head, and this is what it is meant to do you? so really good book so far. I believe this site is about backing talent and skill as well as content and on this book so far the skill is really there.......I will carry on reading and comment further on as I would like to get this book of yours backed to assist it on the climb to the top.
Backed for sure my me. ..I would really appreciate it if your would look at my book, COMMENT , and back it. If not that is OK also
The VERY best of luck with your book

RECOMPENSE
This is a thought provoking book: a call for Christians to put aside merely mouthing they are Christians, step up to the plate, and act like Christians. The writing style is clear and easy to follow. I think you’ll find an audience for this among people who aren’t the kind of person you want them to be so will want to read this for the helpful guidance. I’m adding it to my shelf. If you have a moment, would you look at mine (Grain of Salt)? I’m in 8th place but only holding on by my teeth. Burgio

The challenge of the Ages ... to surrender on'es life to Christ: Biblical, scary, challenging. Is this the meaning of the gospel? For millions down through the ages it has been. This book cuts right to the chase of Christianity, while tacitly acknowledging a basic tenant of eastern religions, that "to live is to suffer."

But according to this version, things only turn out well for those who suffer with an awareness of and a faith in the greatest sufferer of all. Chillingly scary.

This is not apt to be another book on, 1,2,3 you are "saved." No simple Romans Road to Salvation here. The way that the author defines is the "via de dolores," the way of pain.

How do end this comment? "Enjoy" hardly seems to be the appropriate word. "Appreciate" perhaps.

For those who want a simple gospel which glorifies suffering with patience, a real find. This is a story about cross bearing, the nobility of anquish, pain and persecution. Indeed, it implies that without this perspective, one cannot truly "know' Christ.

What if you are "just suffering" rather than suffering for Christ's sake? The messasge seems clear enough to me: "Get with the program."
