All of creation groans for the hour
The Lord will return in His splendor and power.
The angel of death shall no more roam the Earth,
Precious babies will no longer die after birth.
The chicken will have no more fear of the fox,
Even the lion will eat straw like an ox.
No more heat of the day, nor cold of the night,
For the whole world will bask in God's radiant light.
Darkness, depravity, disease, and decay,
From the face of the Earth will be driven away.
Armies will march forth in conquest no more,
No longer will men know the horrors of war.
Hatred and bloodshed will give way to love,
Born not of men, but from Heaven above.
For the devil at last will face God's holy ire
And burn with his cohorts in the vast lake of fire.
The Kingdom of God will be fully restored,
To the ends of the Earth, all will worship the Lord.
Our voices we'll lift up, our gifts we will bring,
We'll honor the mighty and soon coming King.
