Believe Again, The North Pole Chronicles

Joe Moore

Finally. The true story of how the North Pole and its residents came to be.

Throughout history there has been much misinformation and speculation. None more so than revolving around Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus and the elves of the North Pole. Wild stories and claims to make any child, let alone adult, question such preposterous legends. Right?

What if it is mostly true? What if there are logical explanations to much of the legends and stories surrounding the greatest gift-giver of all time?

Nicholas Kringle was a man driven by his heritage. His ancestors were great gift givers and had been since his namesake, the great Saint Nicholas, began it all in 330 A.D. But like his previous ancestors, he was only able to cover some of the countries. With his wife and all their possessions in tow, he covered as much as he could throughout Europe.

That was until a very special delegation came to him. They showed him a way to reach more children in one night than the combined effort of all his previous descendants.

Learn the secrets and experience all the magic from the Chronicles of the North Pole, and Believe Again.

Thanks Matty! Of course it's true, do you really think I could make all that up? Ho, ho, HO!

I just read the first chapter, thought it was excellent, so good in fact that I wonder if perhaps this is a true story. Thoroughly magical and very clever. I'll come back for some more.

Kenneth,
Thanks for the encouragement. Both my wife and I portray Mrs. Claus and Santa and we recieve great joy from it. The books are something that lives in me year round and it is wonderful that I can return to the North Pole whenever I wish (mentally anyway). I wish you great success with The North Korean and hope it fares very well. I will take a closer look at it soon.
All my best,
Joe

Joe,
In the spirit of fun and good cheer, your book about Santa and his origins takes us above the gloom and doom plaguing us all year. Certainly the logistics of transporting gifts to every child on earth in one night would be a daunting matter but not with elves involved, their magical bent making things happen irregardless. Also the matter of procreation and deciding which descendant would take up the Santa mantle are difficult nuts to work around requiring much tinkering. I suppose the key to this exercise is to go with what the child wishes to believe and breathe life into it on the printed page (with lots of illustrations). Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Thanks so much for your kind comments. I am ready for a little comedic writing so I will put B.A.O.R. on my list as soon as I get to reading and commenting on the books currently on my list. Really appreciate your support and plan to return the favor. Best of luck to you!

Brilliant story and well told. It is also a fantastic idea for a book that I can see doing very well. If you push this I can see a lot of people buying into. I wish you luck and I for one will be scoring this highly and support it every step of the way.
Sean Connolly. British Army on the Rampage. (B.A.O.R). Please consider me for a read or Watch List wont you? Happy New Year. Sean

Hi Joe,
After reading your pitch, I read all the 4 chapters you've uploaded on the site. Your story telling style is unique and your final draft is very well organized, indeed.

I liked the way you introduced Kris and Annie and the elves into the plot without causing any confusion with the many other splendid characters involved in the story.

Stacey was as spry and bouncy as Ulzana was old. (A great, cute line.)

Other than that, there are many more descriptions and dialogue parts I liked very much.

High stars and wish you well with The North Pole Chronicles,

Lucette- Ten Deep Footprints

This is in final draft form and is currently being edited, so please forgive the rough edges. I hope to release this book in July, 2012. This is the prequel to my novel, Faith, Hope & Reindeer, which has been doing reasonably well on Amazon and other sites.

Would enjpy hearing the comments of my fellow authors!

Peggy,

Thanks for your thoughts. I have a great deal more to "show" and this is the very rough draft. I am up to 30K words and can't get my thoughts down fast enough. I am getting deeper into this than I ever thought I would. I have added several pages more in the chapters I have posted here, I just don't have time to delete and re-download what is posted. Eventually, I will get to this, but I will be explaining many mysteries and legends about Santa Claus so it is becoming a pretty full subject.

More soon I hope.

Thanks, SC

Hi Santa,
This is an intriguing story. I'm putting it on my watchlist. I believe you can edit it to include more scenes. 'Show don't tell' is a writer's credo. I love reading different stories about Santa and the North Pole. I hope my comment was helpful, and not discouraging. The story is terrific, and I'm happy to watch it.

Well Hello Santa, As a children's writer i love stories about Santa and the elves and your depiction is Wonderful There are not many stories telling about how the elves came to be in the North pole. I think you have the making of a wonderful story.
Best of Luck,

JJ Marro
