THE LORD'S SUPPER: Meditations - Devotions

Pastor Bruce Ball

Communion meditations and messages that church leaders and pastors can give in church or individual Christians can use as personal meditations.

These Communion meditations and devotions are written to be read in less than 5-minutes, and they help explain the message of the Lord's Supper to individuals and church congregations. They show the importance of observing this tradition, and they show where the original command came from that instructs us to observe this Supper. These messages are for anyone who wants a better layman's understanding of this event, and to help leaders more easily teach about it. They put the taking of the emblems in a church setting on a higher and more sacred level, thus helping to bring listeners to a closer relationship with Jesus Christ.

You said;

I like the brief comments that will bring thoughtful focus as one takes of the Communion. THere is variety in these thoughts which will keep a person out of a rut. Communion is to be filled with meaning and a time of reflection. Thank you for the devotions which will help bring this about. The devotions can be a tool for pastors and an inspiration for participants.

I very much appreciate your comments. I am in the middle of rewriting this book, adding about 100 or so pages. When I get them situated on CreateSpace, I will break them down in chapters and repost them here. Again, your encouragement (at this point) is my payday. Thank you!

Just read the first chapter. I am usually very critical about religious books. I am glad to say that I thuroughly enjoyed what I've read of this one. I only have two suggestions.
1. section 8, Love & Enjoy Jesus
..., and all He wants us to meet you while you are humbled and seeking him.
I think there's something missing here, you may want to check that out and revise. Not entirely sure what you were saying.
2. At the end of each section where there is scripture, perhaps you could list the book, chapter, and verse.

I really, truly did enjoy this and I look forward to reading more. Best wishes with this.

God Bless,
Trista
