Do You Believe in Spiritual Warfare?
Last night out at the park, it got a little crazy. We had a guy from Egypt who joined us for the first time. He said he was passing through and wanted to know how much it would cost to eat dinner with us. When we told him it was free his whole countenance suddenly brightened and he even went up and tried to sing with the worship team on the microphone. He seemed very sweet and while speaking with a heavy accent he told us he had been to many churches (such as the Jehovah Witness Church, Mormon Church, Catholic Church and so on) to try and make friends. He let us know that he considers himself to be very religious and thought he might be able to help us. I handed him over to one of our guys, who also is an evangelist and would be sure to give him the true gospel.
Next we had three ladies, who weren’t together, but came through the park and would start screaming and talking at things that weren’t even there. They came through our line to get food and then would walk all around us at different times.
Then we had a lady get her purse stolen. We tried to find the guy who took it and then she told us it was a guy that helps out in line all the time, though he’s not from our church. After that, a guy who was helping us one minute, smiling and talking, fell to the ground holding his arm. They think he may have had a heart attack or something. The next thing that happened was a house caught on fire. The whole time the pastor continued to give his message and was even able to incorporate some of these things into his message… Yes, it was one very crazy night, even for us.

“But none of these things move me, nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.” (Acts 20:24)
