A Christian Passover in the Jewish Tradition

David Simon

Understand the Passover of the Jews, Jesus and for the church today through this Commentary and Family Celebration.

Passover is an annual event for the Jewish family. In my home we gathered together with the extended family and my Uncle told followed the Hagaddah (a book containing the Passover Story) to tell how the Jewish people under the leadership of God left Egypt to find freedom in the promised land. Jesus celebrated the Passover every year of his life. The evening before he died on the cross, he celebrated this event with His disciples. Christians today observe this as the Eucharist, Communion, or Last Supper. This book ties together two traditions enabling today's Christian family to celebrate the ancient festival and gain new insights into the life of Jesus. There are two parts to this book. The first part is an explanation of the parts of Passover. Chapter 5 gives instructions, and Chapter 6 begins a section telling how your family can celebrate Passover. This is a sequel to my now published "Spring: Connecting With God."
