Jack, Laurie and Jerry are three strangers running from their own tragedies to start a new life in Paris. In the city of love they find friendship with each other, and slowly begin to put their pasts behind them. Life is peaceful until the past catches up with Laurie and brings the three of them together in a deadly game of kidnap, murder and revenge.

Lots of action and drama for Laurie in the initial chapters, setting up an escape story and whether she'll truly be able to make a fresh start. Insights into Jack's background and the beginning of a relationship between him and Jerry. I wonder now how Laurie's path will cross that of Jack and Jerry and what impact his adopted family will have on the story.

I didn't list them out but did notice a few typos, just minor points.
