In Days Gone By

Thomas Wright

A single man races to prevent a nuclear disaster in 1984.

1984. 72 hours until a global thermonuclear war ignites. And only one man can stop it... Jacob Crown awakes with no recollection of the past ten days. In that time, an explosion inside the White House's Oval Office has killed President Geoffrey Cooper and Secretary of Defence Daniel Jones. There is only one remaining witness; the answers locked inside the head of Jacob Crown... As the secrets of his past begin to unlock, dark truths that should never have been rediscovered begin to surface once more, and an irrefutable truth is uncovered; nothing is ever as it first seems.

Very good start, intriguing premise. I like the flow but think that perhaps the character dialogue should be separated. The discussions between Jake and Professor Schwarz was very good and flowed well. The presumption is that he killed the president and his own self analysis is very good, he questions himself but is so unsure of the answer, The tests that the prof does with Jake sound very authentic and real. The storyline is getting more intense with the realization that Mark is a traitor. This story is going places and is very good.
I think it will do very well on Authonomy and I wish you very good luck. Highly rated. On my W/L as I hope to get back to it soon to see where the story leads.
