By the year 2084, technology has reshaped Europe into a soulless virtual world. Tylos and Lienar flee this harsh society for the Promised Land.
Tylos lives in Unu Lando, the official name for Europe in the year 2084. Society has changed a lot since the time when a Parisian pensioner killed by Muslim youths prompted Europeans to create a laic State and to part with all religions. In 2040, the “Religious Exodus” sees 80 million Muslims relocate to Arab countries, 15 million Christians to various “Christian Enclaves”, and 1 million Jews to Israel. When the Israeli Government is forced by its sudden population increase to resume an aggressive settlement program, terrible repercussions follow. Tel Aviv is the first city to be hit in a massive nuclear attack, prompting an immediate retaliation from Israeli silos and striking three Iranian locations, Damascus and Dhahran in Saudi Arabia. Meanwhile, Europe officially adopts Esperanto as its new language and also changes its name to: Unu Lando (One Land).
Tylos, a 19 year old orphan, falls for Lienar, a beautiful seismologist of the same age, who introduces him to an anti-Government dissident organisation. Tylos and Lienar flee this harsh society for the Promised Land.
After an amazing journey through an ancient pilgrims’ route from Santiago de Compostella to Seville, they reach their final destination.
