These Glad Tidings

Don Herston

This essay is about a spiritual event hidden in the Bible. The revelation of this hidden spiritual event will trigger the apocalypse.

Why did God create evil, and how do we achieve the perfection that is demanded by the Law of God? How is it that Christ died for our sins considering that God rejects the transfer of responsibility for sin? Why does the Bible contradict itself concerning how we get to Heaven?

The Bible was given as a riddle because certain information is very explosive and had to be kept secret. It is the revealing of Biblical secrets that causes Armageddon, and this is why the book that foretells Armageddon is called the Revelation. Amazingly enough, the explosive information that had to be kept secret was not well hidden. It is one of God’s greatest wonders that He has prevented the world from noticing some very clear messages in the Bible.

A good book with many useful concepts. I hope you get it printed.
Just a few comments- I know a lot of people won't go past the KJV Bible, but there are better, modern translations now, that convey the actual meaning of scripture in todays language.
You have very little to say about the period betwen now and the Return of Jesus for His Millenniel reign. For that time, perhaps you could look at my book - Logos Telos, or my website www.logostelos.info

I'm indeed glad that I am getting around to take a closer look at your work and comment on it. While the ideas you seem to advocate are quite revolutionary, one thing that is evident is your passion for, and knowledge of, the Word. Your short pitch is indeed an attention grabber, at least for folks like me who have an interest in eschatological issues. However, with how much I have looked at in the book, I did not see a build up to the core subject that the short pitch suggests. Considering that the work is non fiction, it would be a good idea for you to include a table of contents, so the reader can have an early impression of the scope of the book and also see how you intend to build up your picture. The note you insert at the beginning of the chapters could also be put in the introduction, so you wont have to repeat it over an over. You need to polish the prose also. Your sentences are sometimes vague so that someone who does not already know what you intend to say may seem lost. Since you have the critical ingredient of passion, I believe that with sufficient feedback, you might discover the best way for you to share your message and give it an appeal to a broader audience. Blessings always.
