This is wonderfully imagined with a great blend of horror and humor. The basic theme of good versus evil is uniquely portrayed.Backed earlier.Rakhi (Sir William...) view book

Completely engaging, I enjoyed reading this. It's fun, witty and written very well in a deceptively light manner. The reader will find themselves feeling the turmoil of emotions that your protagonist goes through as the writing is splendid.Backed earlier and with pleasure.Rakhi (Sir William....) view book
The pitch is great, refreshing and new. Lots of excitement and the topics you cover will excite even the most skeptic young mind. Your write well and your characterisation of Kyle is superb.Backed.Rakhi (Sir William...) view book
I like the theme very much- a wonderful way to visit love, honour, command and duty. There is just the right amount of mystery and fear to captivate the audience. Your writing is crisp, the pacing is quick and characters magical.Backed earlier.Rakhi (Sir William...) view book
Great imagination and wonderfully implemented. I enjoyed this very much and I'm certain kids will be fascinated with the world you have created.Backed earlier.Rakhi (Sir William...) view book
Enchanting. The pitch is wonderful and will entice many readers. I like the contrast between Holly's very down to earth world filled with dissapointments and heart breaks and her wonderful magical and fantasy world of wishes. Holly's characterisation and personality is endearing and I found myself adoring her. Rules do suck for Holly and the rest of us.Backed earlier and with pleasure.Rakhi (Sir William...) view book
Excellent premise and the execution of the story is captivating. I thought you begin very nicely with the funeral and the many 'hidden' mesages and lessons Johnny tries to convey to Tom. It will definitely keep the readers on edge trying to figure out what Johnny exactly means. Tom is portrayed appropriatly as a 8 year old, terrified and anxious of what lies ahead. The story is filled with adventure, lots of mystery and danger and plenty of tension to keep the reader intrigued.Backed earlier.Rakhi (Sir William...) view book
Cute, adorable and absolutely entertaining. You've captured a bright, fun, dramatic teenager in Louise which many will identify with. The dialogue is crisp, funny and the writing quite smooth. Mother-daughter relationship is portrayed well as the characterisation is quite solid.Backed earlier and enjoyed this alot.Rakhi (Sir William...) view book
I've read quite a few books on the Tudors, but none in which Mary is highlighted to a great depth as you have done. I found this story from Mary's POV very fascinating and entertaining. Her emotions, her courage and her stubborness is portrayed quite well and the story is well told.Backed earlier and with admiration.Rakhi (Sir William...) view book
This was hard for me to read but so very compelling that I kept on. I feel for Sarah, not only does she suffer abuse from her parents but also through her own relationships as an adult. I'm glad that her sufferrings made her stronger and a better parent. Her love for her kids is obvious and I'm glad she d=had the corage to break the patter her own Mom was unable to. You write this with such honesty that it warms the heart. Reading this from the first person's narrative make this more vivid and real.I hope this story helps many and gives them the courage to survive and and live their lives fully inspite of the circumstances.Backed earlier.Rakhi (Sir William...) view book

This is a clever and very intriguing plot. It has all the exciting elements of a thriller, lots of tension and the pacing is very good. Great hooks at the end of the chapter which will compell one to read on. I like that you have dealt with real issues in such a fantasy way.Backed earlier and with pleasure.Rakhi (Sir William...) view book
This is absolutely 'Cool'! I loved the pitch and kept wondering and hoping the book would be in the same style. You did not dissapoint and I was smitten with the mad ramblings of one of the most unique, insane and thrilling protagonist I have come across on this site. I like the way you went all out and I appreciate the guts it took. There is a reason people are obsessed with 'James Bond' like characters, because nothing is impossible for him and he is the coolest. Lara is exciting, your style is captivating and add to that a most unsual romance, I would say, this is sure to be a winner.Backed with pleasure.Rakhi (Sir William...) view book
I'm quite impressed. This is an excellent piece of non-fiction that reads like fiction as the journey is so fascinating. What an incredible story. I do agree with some that you tell a bit too much in your prologue. Maybe you could highlight all the milestones, but keep the information about your mother, her end times and your relationship with her to be revealed later. I'm most fascinated with your life, but equally fascinated with hers and would love to find out more through the read. Very compelling story.Thank you for this amazing peak into your life and I wish you all the best with this.Backed earlier.Rakhi (Sir William...) view book
I thought this was splendid, the pitch made me read this, the prologue captivated me and the beginning chapter has made me a fan.The prologue was very good, I felt I was in slow motion and present in the scene. I liked the way Emeline and Jude are described physically through their gestures and actions. Emeline is portrayed strong, dynamic and very haunted. Jude is exciting, passionate and hopelessly obssessed. They make a great pair, and both are interesting enough to carry the story. The writing is darkly poetic, tension filled and unique without trying too hard.I simply enjoyed this very much.Backed earlier.Rakhi (Sir William, An Urbane Knight) view book
I enjoyed this very much. In fact, after reading the pitch, I took my time reading this and with pleasure. You start with a glimpse of Jack's childhood and you have managed to capture it without wasting many words. You also managed to capture the time period just thorugh the dialogue and descriptions. You give us the first glimpse of how different Jack is since little through his college days and then later.Charmian is beautifully portrayed and an even match for Jack. I enjoyed their romance and the highs and lows they eventually go through in the start and also I liked the way you give the reader her POV which shows how emotinally tied up and in love she was with jack.I will continue to read this, but for now I give you two thumbs up. Nice work.Backed earlier and with pleasure.Rakhi (Sir William...) view book
Quite an exciting premise, the lure of paradise but with a twist. The characters are well portrayed, Max a bit beaten down and Tom very mysterious. I like the whole references to India, "since when did Indian have rules", the 'tip' for the inspector, which does capture one aspect of the country. There is an underlying feeling of dread throughout and I'm sure as intended. There were some instances where I did get confused, but to me it added to the intrigue and mystery of what was to follow. I liked the hook at the end of chapter 4.Backed earlier.Rakhi (Sir William...) view book
I love Antonio's personality, quirky, fun and exciting. He has met his match in Amanda. This is a great adventure story and with Antonio as the protagonist, the story is fun and humorous. Your writing is confident, fun and well researched. I enjoyed the scattering of quotes you have throughout and enjoyed the reference to King Arthur and the knights. The first line of chapter 2 does not make sense, I think there is a typo.I really enjoyed this and happy to back it.Rakhi (Sir William...) view book
