Well, I'd put my sci-fi in, except that it's not complete, so you wouldn't be able to judge it yet. The sixteen chapters that are up are not enough for anyone to guess what will come.

R.J. Blain

My genre is Fantasy. Here is the link: http://authonomy.com/books/43722/the-eye-of-god/

The pitch, stolen directly from the link. (I know, it needs improvement...)

Raised as a combat slave from birth, all Terin wanted when he stepped into the Arena was death.

Denied his wish, Terin is thrust into the middle of the search for the Eye of God, the missing part of the Triad of God.

The one who possessed the Eye could do anything. Entire Empires were born from its influence only to fall at its loss. Men betrayed one another and killed for it.

Caught up in machinations far beyond his ability to comprehend, it falls to Terin to prevent the reuniting of the Triad. Should the three relics of God meet, no power controlled by mortal man will be able to spare the world from its destruction.

The Eye of God is a traditional fantasy novel.

Ah, why not. Bit of a problem with genre though. I'm a paranormal thriller. Open-mouthed

How about a Children's comedy/fantasy aimed at Adults?

Franky Frog's Worldwide Travelogue
http://www.authonomy.com/books/44084/franky-frog-s-worldwide-travelogue/

Professor Bennilus is on a scientific quest to turn ideas into virtual reality. Unfortunately, there's a slight hiccup. Once his machine's turned off, any ideas disappear from memory. The logical solution? Put pen to paper and write what he sees (no matter how bizarre). So begins this rather unusual tale of a lonesome Frog who discovers a magic bottle.

Franky wants to travel, but he's never been beyond The Pond. It's safe in The Pond and all his Great Aunts & Uncles, Nieces & Nephews reside at the bottom. Still, what's a bored Frog to do when a frustrated Genie offers to be his travel guide? Perhaps Franky'll take in France, Italy or China. Perhaps he'll come to understand there's no place like home.

He might, if he's lucky, even survive this unlikely journey of self-discovery . . .

PS. Who's judging?

Tongue out

REDOUBT
Satisfied Dedalus reader writes:

I've read your prologue and up to chapter 4. I have finally, after two days of searching, found a book I like. Oh it was great, I really enjoyed. You write excellently, there are so many hooks in this, and it is UNIQUE! Which is unlike so much on this site which feels like the same recycled story.

http://authonomy.com/books/44661/redoubt/

The end of the world is only the beginning.

To its members, the Redoubt is family.

To runaways Grace and Michael, sanctuary.

To the probationary Fed, Anita Swanson, they're wealthy end of days survivalists - delusional but harmless. While a corrupt local Sheriff sees only low hanging fruit ripe for the picking.

Obviously, it's a matter of perspective, but when an unknown evil lets a Doomsday weapon loose upon the world, the Redoubt might just be mankind's best last chance.

Tongue out close quotes

I figured we all would judge Smile If I can get enough books to enter, it would be ran somewhat like Wispy's wonderful contests in the past haha. I'm omiting my book, though, so no one thinks I'm cheating Tongue out If I can get as many as I hope in, you wouldn't have to judge more than two rounds. One of the beginning and the very last where everyone judges the winner (whoever has the most votes wins). I guess I should add an incentive- whoever wins the final round gets the honorary title and, lets say, shelf time for a week? Is that agreeable?
