Maybe sucking eggs but...

This excellent site from Bristol University might help anyone unsure about grammar or punctuation - run on sentences, dangling participles, the comma splice etc.

Simple explanaions and quick, simple, tick-the-box exercises to test.

If you don't need to know how to suck eggs, great. If you're not sure on some things - it's a good site:

I couldn't think what a 'dangling participle' was. It appears I'm fine with using/spotting them, and I now know what they are.
