**EDIT**

I uploaded Liminal Lights two months ago today. It's sitting at around 161 with 49 comments.

***

I uploaded Liminal Lights a month ago today.

It's my first attempt at a middle grade book - challenging language with appropriate topics that make a kid think.

It's sitting just under 400 - which is quite respectable (25 comments and a dozen or so "real" backers.)

I'm proud of this work - it's probably my best to date.

Anyone else have something to celebrate?

I uploaded Milk and More a few weeks ago and it's now at 146. Considering that my backings and comments are all 'real' and I've not been active on the site for the last couple of weeks I reckon that's not too bad. Actually, I'm more pleased about the constructive comments I've received, and the fact that a number of people have read the whole upload, than ranking.

Yes, the constructive feedback is without a doubt the best part of Authonomy. You're doing great.

You have wonderful clavicles as well. So two reasons to be happy. We horses don't have them. So you see, you are so much more than the sum of your books, you have other stuff you can be proud of. close quotes

Why, thank you. Horses are magnificent in their own right.

There's something more than pride though. It's a feeling a bit beyond that of accomplishment. There's prolly a word for it but I can't think of it just now.

Yeah, I like her clavicles, too.

I should look up what clavicles means, but if Jenny-B has them, I'm sure they're nice.

Joe Cool is not around, is he? He might not like us talking about her clavicles. Wear a burqa, Jenny-B. Angry

And read Liminal Lights, other people.

It's a little hot for a burqa.

well possibly not - some of the nicest burgas (burqee?) are made from silk that floats in the desert breeze like a zephyr trapping the moving air beneath it and tickling the fancy of the ladies in question (I did have to wear one in public when we were in Riyadh - they are not as desperately awful as it may seem, although I never did cover my head or my face) however, that jumper that you got on young lady, well now that is a heavy looking thing but not modest oh no - not modest at all you are showing your clavicles to horses and orang utangs - well for shame

Oh by the way many many lovely congratulations on your ranking but mostly on your good feelings - that's nice

I would change my "jumper" - but I'm afraid Autho would leave me nekkid until sometime on Monday and that just won't do. As for my clavicles, it's not like they're anything anyone hasn't seen before. Wink

Thanks for the congrats - I'm in a fabulous, celebratory mood today - just because. Open-mouthed
