Just wondering how many novels the people displaying their work on here have written. The one I have uploaded was my fifth (written two more since.) Posted: 18/09/2008 18:11:51

Apart from the one on line, I'm half-way through a present day novel called "Nature Nurture" plus I've written a few short stories, with one small prize to my name. Clare Posted: 18/09/2008 18:15:07

Two (under different names) and my collection of ribald fairy stories, which (if Lexi is reading this) contain ELVES! Posted: 18/09/2008 18:17:30

Um - two handwritten unpublishable efforts in my teens, another lurking in a drawer and 50,000 words of a sequel to one already on this site. Plus the two completed and one WIP already uploaded. Posted: 18/09/2008 18:20:57
Only one. And a bit. Hangs her head in shame... Nothing to be ashamed of. I was just curious. Finishing even one novel is a fantastic achievement. Posted: 18/09/2008 18:22:05

I wrote two many years ago when I was in my twenties, but there were so many family problems going on that I couldn't handle the inevitable discouragements as well. I've been writing bits and pieces ever since, but this is the first time I've come back to fiction. Posted: 18/09/2008 18:25:14
Only one. And a bit. Hangs her head in shame... Why shame? I have heard your work is excellent. I will soon be finding out for myself, or will my alter ego. I can't remember. ;-) Posted: 18/09/2008 18:27:35
Only one. And a bit. Hangs her head in shame... Yes, but you probably have a life... :-) But seriously, as SJ says, finishing a novel is an achievement in itself. How many of your friends have done it? Debbie Posted: 18/09/2008 18:27:42
