Some of you will know that I was unexpectedly made redundant a couple of weeks ago and the future was looking decidedly bleak...

Well... the Good News is that I've found a job!!!!

A friend of mine recommended me to one of his customers (who was looking for a feature writer), the customer requested my CV, called me in for interview the next day, offered me the job the next and I start the day after my garden leave from my former job ends! I'm writing reports, press releases and brochures for a company who report on the UK Food Industry... It's part-time, but allows me to pay my bills and still have two days a week to build up my freelance writing.

I'd just like to thank everyone who sent me their good wishes and cheered me up so much over the past few weeks. It just goes to show that good things can happen to anyone!
