They're being pressured by the banks and doubtless the banks are being pressured by lunatic-right American lobby groups, Baccus.

With the greatest respect to normal Christians, I always see lunatic Christians at the root of these initiatives.

I wish the USA would hurry up and invent and appropriate pesticide.

Audrey, you're very palpably a Christian of the non-lunatic variety, as is Ruby, as are most Christians I've ever met.

Indeed, perhaps all of them. I've met loads of Christians, but the American extremists really are a case apart.
