Hi Folks,

I recently discovered this site and having just completed the final draft of my thriller - TORQUE - I thought I'd join the fray.
I'm still getting my feet wet here, so although I'm up for doing some reading, please be patient if my response isn't immediate- y'all know how it is.

Anyway, I've uploaded my undiscovered best-seller - you can find it here:
http://www.authonomy.com/books/43858/torque/

Here's the hook: After nine years on the road, driving instructor Chas Fenn knows how to avoid accidental death - it's the intentional kind that he finds a challenge.

Cheers,
Glenn

Hi Glenn,
Welcome to Authonomy! I like the premise of your book so I'll take a look as soon as I can. It's always good when a writer uses their own extensive experience in their work. How about the astronomy - any plans?

Best wishes,
Nick

Thanks, All, for the greetings.

Nick, I am a fan of early sci-fi - Verne, Wells, Serviss, etc. Somewhere in the recesses of my mind, there's story that pays tribute to those books. When it will come to fruition, though, is anyone's guess. I see "Where She Lies" has attained a good ranking. I'll poke my nose in when I get a minute.

Glenn

The Leafs [suck ass] are my favourite team. That should prolly tell you where I live. While I'm on the subject - am I the only one who hates their uniforms this year? They're just so, I don't know, royal blue. I liked the navy blue better.

I long to see the movie 'Goon'.

I have a special spot on my shelf all picked out for it. Right beside "Slapshot".

If it sucks, I will cry.

That being said, Rick Mercer is still annoying.
