I'd like to urge you to take a look at my book, Slave to Grace: http://www.authonomy.com/books/38737/slave-to-grace

Its a 47,000+ word historical novel built on the foundation of the single chapter book of Philemon. Come meet Onesimus, a slave who hungered for freedom and feared for his life and Philemon, the Christian master who only wanted to prosper and give his workers everything they needed both physically and spiritually. I think you'll enjoy this painstakingly researched book about betrayal and forgiveness.

Hello William, I am writing to you as someone who has been kind enough to support the Firelord’s Crown in the recent past. Now I need your help once more. I have been on site for nearly 2 years and worked my way up through reading and commenting on books. I have always been uncomfortable with ‘spamming’ and tit-for-tat backings but I do feel able to ask if you could please support Firelord by shelving it for a while over the next month. Under the new system I cannot offer you anything but an immediate * star rating and the promise of whatever support you feel you need; a second reading or comment etc. if you do not feel able to put Firelord back on your shelf, please could you still *rate it for me?
Many, many thanks!
Regards,
Jim Darcy

After one year on the site and over 700 reviews, I have accepted many of the suggestions (sometimes, I admit, through gritted teeth) and Apocalypse Then is now fully edited. I believe it is ready for the desk and ask, If you find the time, that you take a look at it. If you then believe that it is good enough, please consider placing it on your desk. All the best DD ;o)

Hi William! I was wondering if you'd be interested in taking a look at Mark of Eternity? All reads will be returned quickly and I could even look at a specific thing or chapter.

Look forward to hearing from you!
Missy

Hello. I’m a southerner too, Greensboro, NC. I will appreciate if you check TO KILL A DEAD MAN and give me an honest critique. If after reading you feel like backing it I won’t object, but I’m really more interested in your comments as to what works and what doesn’t.
I will return the favor but tell me which one would you want me to read/comment/back?

Hello ,
I am not an author myself and am here purely as a fan of literature but I fully endorse David James Pickering's books, especialy 'convergence' which I think you will find a thrilling and compelling read.
If you would give his a look then I shall be happy to read yours and of course back you if I enjoy the story.
Thank you and good luck,
Karen.

eurodan49 wrote 1029 days ago

Could I entice you to read, maybe comment and back (if you consider it worthy) TO KILL A DEAD MAN?
I will return the favor.

I would love to hear your thoughts on The Kid: A True Story of Cocaine, Corruption, Deceit and Betrayal.

It tells how a tragic accident changed the life of a young English sportsman, turning him from a hero who represented his country into a hardened criminal on the run.

Raw, honest, funny and moving, coming clean about his story in this book he is now 'going straight' again.

Any feedback you have would be very welcome – and if you think it's worth backing, we'd be very grateful!

Best wishes

Karen xx

PS If you've already shelved The Kid, please forgive me! Computer glitches have played havoc with my records!

I commented/backed your book 127 days ago - though my book has been on this site for over a year, I still can use comments to better my novel; please SHELVE it if you deem it worthy enough.

If you think you’ve already BACKED my book, I ask if you wouldn’t mind giving it another quick spin on your shelf, as some people this week, who thought they’d previously backed it, had it finally registered in my activity feed. I understand if you don't have time to comment but I can use all BACKINGS in my position - cheers!

Hello, Diatom,

Sorry to trouble you. I backed your book a while ago and now I’m asking if you will take a quick look at Impeding Justice for me?

I’m currently sitting at number 12 and with your help I could realistically make it to the Ed’s desk by June as I have commitments to keep with agents in July.

I’m very grateful to those of you who think they’ve already backed my book and ask if you wouldn’t mind giving it another quick spin on your shelf, as 3 people this week, who thought they’d previously backed it, finally registered on my feed.

Thanks to all those who have turned Impeding Justice into the thrilling read that it is today, I’ll always be indebted to you for your kindness.

Wishing you all success with your own novels and hope that one day your dream of publishing will come true.

Regards
Melxx

Hi Diatom, this is just to say I BACKED your book previously. If you have time, and you feel my book is worth backing, I would appreciate your backing, as I am quite close to the ED, and in return I will give you an honest critique of your work in due course. Hi, it’s a while since we’ve been in touch and I was just wondering what you thought of Firelord, :) or :P. Regards, Jim D

A Knight wrote 1122 days ago

Dear Diatom,

I'm looking for people who may be interested in reading my young adult fantasy, Relic, and I would be honoured if you were to take a look at my efforts. If you have time to give it a spin on your shelf and/or comment, then even better!

I always return reads and/or backings, and as of April 24th, fellow authonomite Melli8787 has also agreed to reciprocate any new backings of Relic.

If you do not have a book up on authonomy and your rank is 10,000 or above, you can nominate a manuscript for support in return for your backing.

Thank you for your time, and I look forward to hearing from you!
