Hi Everyone,

I wanted to say “Thank You!” to everyone who helped get Old Number Seven to the desk this month. When I originally came to Authonomy three years ago, I thought my novel was pretty good. But all of you helped me out in ways both big and small, and that enabled me to make very effective rewrites. I hardly recognize the book today compared to what it was back then. I’m grateful beyond words as I offer up ON7 to the Authonomy gods for review. If HC ends up publishing it, all of you are in some way responsible. I hope you see it as our victory. I know I do.

As you fly away to help other deserving authors, I would like to humbly suggest that you read over a few of my favorites. If you enjoyed Old Number Seven, I think you will like these as well.

The Fortune of Annacara by Kay Christine Fenton is a hauntingly beautiful historical tale of love, loss and hardship on the American Frontier. Fenton has the ability to bring readers right down into the heart of her dusty world. One of the best! http://authonomy.com/books/652/the-fortune-of-annacara/

The Cross of Goa by Laurence Howard is a religious-themed thriller that will surly give The Da Vinci Code a thrashing. http://authonomy.com/books/16306/the-cross-of-goa/

Last Tango for Che by Elina Castro Almeyra is a true story set in the hotbed of revolutionary Argentina by a woman who has seen it all. http://authonomy.com/books/33945/last-tango-for-che/

Snow Bound by Justis Call is a psychological thriller featuring a main character as unique as the book’s author. It’s hard to describe, but easy to love. http://authonomy.com/books/31436/snow-bound/

Last but not least, Tales from the Top by Toppy gives a dog’s eye view of the world. One of the cleverest animal-centered books I’ve read, you’ll love this one from nose to tail. http://authonomy.com/books/32444/tales-from-the-top/

Keep in touch, my friends. I wish you all every success.

Kind Regards,

John Breeden II

Bobby,

I notice you have an empty slot on your bookshelf. I also see you still have The Ghost Shirt there. David no longer needs your help, but I do.

HELL'S SUPER is at number 5, hanging on by its teeth to stay in that revered company for the next month. I'd love to have the opportunity to gain your support. If you read and back HELL'S SUPER, the chances are good you'll get your shelf space back in a few weeks.

My book has been embraced by the authonomy community, with adjectives like " highly original," "extremely funny," "intelligent," and "well-written" being consistent comments. It's been compared favorably to the writings of Doug Adams and Terry Pratchett and even the Screwtape Letters. A number of ED medalists, like Zane, Maeve, Bill Holt, and Fran Macilvey, are current supporters.

Back HELL'S SUPER and become a member of the "I Love BOOH Fan Club." As American Express says, membership has its privileges. I just can't figure out what they are yet!

Thanks for considering this.

This demeans us both. Well, mostly me. But what the heck. Now the very lovely GHOST SHIRT no longer needs your support, I'd appreciate it if you took a look at my book STARSHY.

http://authonomy.com/books/46148/starshy/

It's a weird YA fantasy and some people have been kind enough to say it doesn't entirely suck.

Thanks for your time and consideration

Hello Bobby,

Hope you are well. Maybe you would like to try out my new satire, Doghouse Blues. Here is an endorsement:

I was attracted to Doghouse Blues from the pitch alone because it was so very different. There are so many budding writers out there who want to earn the same sort of money as J K Rowling by writing exactly the same kind of book and , to be frank, I am getting a bit tired of it.
This, on the other hand, struck me as being an original piece of work. The product of a lively mind and written by someone who is an excellent observer of the real world out there and who knows how to translate his observations into print. Just the right amount of dialogue, which carries the story along well.
I have not read the complete book (yet) but have dipped into it fairly freely to see if the momentum is maintained. It certainly is.
Philip John

Looking forward to reading your comments on the Doghouse Blues webpage.

All the best,

Clive

Hi, how are you today? :)

As we end the month of October and Jinger makes it to the ED, I would like to introduce my book to you, LEO & ROVER: THE PURPLE MARBLE ADVENTURES.

Please take a look, you might like it. Many have enjoyed the story, and I hope you do, too. I'd love to hear from you!

Thank you so much for your support in advance. Have a prosperous November!

Take care,

Bobby ... !

Blessings on your head (agnostic, but nonetheless sincere) for backing 'Last Days of the...' I've had very, very little time of late for reading manuscripts (or anything outside my field) - but I do try to make time for thanking. So - Thank you!

You note that you've been working on a novel for 10 years ... if and when you upload, do let me know. Maybe by that time I'll have time to ... read more.

All best to you, and again - thanks!

Hi BobbyDazzler
Thank you for backing The Ghost Shirt. Please let me know when you put any work on Authonomy and I can have a look. Interesting that you say you have been writing your book for 10 years, this is the same time for The Ghost Shirt, on and off. Hopefully, if I get to the desk I will get some feedback and try to get some interest.
As a backer of the book Little Wing and Angus have made you an Honorary Ghost Shirt Warrior.
Thanks again.
David

"The Prince and the Singularity – A Circular Tale" is a book with one big advantage, one only needs to read the first 40 lines to know whether one is going to like the story or not. If after the first 40 lines you're not hooked, no need to bother reading the rest.

Hi Bobby--due to a glitz during editing Pedro and Me, I lost my 2 or 3 backers. Was hoping if you still had Pedro on your shelf that you might readd it, please? Thank you for your consideration. Kind regards, ILoveHorses,

Now, Bobby, how many e-version copies do I have to sell to afford that car? Ah, a dream for another day, right?

Bobby, I’d like to say a huge, heartfelt “Thank You” for your steadfast support for No Kiss Goodbye! Your friendship means more to me than I could put into words—thank you from the bottom of my heart!

When you have a moment, if you’d like to view a book page for No Kiss Goodbye with some of the photographs I may include, here’s the link: www.facebook.com/NoKissGoodbye

Just like you I have also been supporting the brilliant ‘No Kiss Goodbye’ by T. Donna, and would like you to also consider supporting my book at the end of this month, which is the next Biographical, Harper True Life, Christian book in the rankings. My book has a prophetic substance to it, as after all I am a prophet; for instance this is what I said about Donna’s book four and a half months ago:

The opening three chapters seem to be purposefully tempo’d designed to push the emotional buttons and drawer the reader in. Well crafted language challenges the reader to take on board a broad range of feelings, very good descriptive tracts make for total realism that shows the clarity to which the writer can clearly remember all these events vividly, which adds to the books over all 'bite'. Already doing well this one's defiantly heading for the Desk!

Now look, it’s at number 1 :o)

Hay Bobby--thank you for reading, shelving and commenting on Pedro and Me. The extraneous text at the end of Chapter 1 was so we could get the book public more quickly, that's all. Thank you again, we really appreciate it --ILoveHorses.

Hi there – it’s me again…

BLOODSTONES is so close to the Ed's desk I can taste it. I was briefly at number one, but we're all jostling for space up in the top five and I'm slipping away...aaargh!

If you could give me a couple of weeks on your shelf, I might just make it to the end of the month and that all important Harper Collins Editor’s read.

So if there’s some room for me on your stylish bookshelf, many thanks, all the best from me, your Authonomy friend, Cas.

I won’t forget you…

Hi Bobby, guess what? I'm writing you again just before heading out for my run :))

Words don’t begin to express my heartfelt gratitude for your steadfast support for No Kiss Goodbye! Your backing for two more weeks will be such a tremendous help for me to remain in the top five and receive an editor’s review. Many, many, many thanks from the bottom of my heart!

Warmest hugs,
Donna ♥
