Hello Al,

Hope you are well. Maybe you would like to try out my new satire, Doghouse Blues. Here is an endorsement:

I was attracted to Doghouse Blues from the pitch alone because it was so very different. There are so many budding writers out there who want to earn the same sort of money as J K Rowling by writing exactly the same kind of book and , to be frank, I am getting a bit tired of it.
This, on the other hand, struck me as being an original piece of work. The product of a lively mind and written by someone who is an excellent observer of the real world out there and who knows how to translate his observations into print. Just the right amount of dialogue, which carries the story along well.
I have not read the complete book (yet) but have dipped into it fairly freely to see if the momentum is maintained. It certainly is.
Philip John

Looking forward to reading your comments on the Doghouse Blues webpage.

All the best,

Clive

Hi Al,
If you’re looking for a new book to read and back (if you find it worthy), I’d be honored if you’d consider No Kiss Good-bye. It’s unlike any other story on authonomy and one that you’ll live and feel with all your senses. It’s my true-life story of escaping communist Romania along switchbacks that eventually led to America. I was fourteen years old at the time.

Here’s the link: http://www.authonomy.com/books/39263/no-kiss-good-bye. Thank you so much!

Hey Al, I’m pretty sure you commented on and/or backed the first 12,000 words of me novel BOT—thank you once again!—and I wanted to let you know that the complete 58,000+ word manuscript is in the Kindle store this season (only) so that, hopefully, I can get some more feedback now on the rest of the story and its tumultuous end. Not sure any search tags are visible yet on Amazon, but if you do view the page and have a moment ‘science fiction’ and ‘apocalypse’ ought to do it.

USA = http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0084UZ5B2
UK = https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0084UZ5B2
(And, meh, I don’t know the other site addresses just yet.)

My next book about a gang of serial killers on the loose in America’s northland is a work of nonfiction and the first in my True Crime series . I’ll prolly upload a few chapters of ‘The Case of the Drowning Men’ on Authonomy soon, but it too has been published in its entirety in one illustrated volume: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0089HD4A4 and http://www.amazon.co.uk/B0089HD4A4

Once more, thank you for your kind support of my work in the past. I still truly value and appreciate it—
E.R.

Hi Al - just extending the ink-stained hand of friendship.

I've been on-site for a little while now, and I've found it to be an extremely constructive and rewarding experience. The range of writing and subjects available here seems to cover a broad spectrum of styles and ability, but it does pay to have a thick skin - some of those critics can be pretty fierce!

Backing books, making friends, commenting where you can – that seems to be the way to raise the profile, so here I am.

I'm usually around, so it would be fantastic to hear from you.

Anyway…happy writing, reading or whatever it is you’re doing today...

All the best, be creative, live life to the full – Cas

PS: If you do happen to get the absolutely uncontrollable urge to look at either of my books, here are the links

http://authonomy.com/books/42586/slow-poison/
http://www.authonomy.com/books/42590/bloodstones/

Slow Poison is dark and brutal, Bloodstones is a gentler read, but gets tougher as the story progresses. A little like Larsson, Welsh, Niffenegger I have been told. (…but I haven’t read any of their work yet…so you’ll have to be the judge of that…)

Warning: both of my books contain explicit sexual acts, frequent swearing and disturbing scenes of violence. Please do not read if you are of a sensitive nature or under age in your territory.

Will you fight for CUPID (god of sexual love) leading men or for LIBERTY FAIRY leading women in this greatest Third World War?

1) Hear the two greatest orations, one by CUPID and the other by LIBERTY FAIRY in the final battlefield in Third World War, and then join the battle!—read chapter: 15
2) Win a Nobel prize if you solve any of 11 unsolved riddles! Also know the darkest mystery about ‘After Death’.—read chapter: 14.
3) A golden treasure of 100 new Emerald proverbs and novel, naughty quotations on sex, sexual love, marriage, etc., read chapter: 3.
4) For the strangest ‘Preface’, never read by you till now, read the sarcastic conversation between YOU as the scathing reader and ME as the defending author in chapter: 5.
5) If you are a lover of traditional rhymed volcanic and lyric poems (like those of Alfred Tennyson), read my 37 poems in chapter: 17.
6) Within the next 10 years, all countries in the world will come under the rule of Angels Party. For 100 most revolutionary novel ideas in Election Manifesto of Angels Party, read the two most important chapters: 10 and 11.
7) For ‘Sexual Revolution for sexual ecstasy for all freely’ revealed by CUPID against ‘Eternal Bliss ten times more joyful than sexual ecstasy by Raja Yoga and about ‘Many Evils and 3 types of Jails by Sex---Even the most virulent poison is no poison when compared to CUPID!’ by LIBERTY FAIRY,
8) Read the full kindle e-book with 598 pages with 4 different RED, BLACK, GREEN and BLUE text colo(u)rs published by Amazon.com priced at $ 9 only.

Al Halsey,

I noticed that you've supported a good friend of mine's book, The Book of The Forsaken, and was wondering if I could convince you to take a look at my book, The Ark of Humanity, and consider lending it your support as well. Here's the pitch.

God flooded the earth to annihilate humanity's sins. What if that sinful race didn't die when floodwaters covered them but instead adapted to breathe water?

Let me know what you think. Have a wonderful day!

Hello, can I interest you in my new paranormal thriller “Lykaia”?

“We are the terrors that hunt the night. And we have never been human”

In Greek mythology there’s a story of King Lycanos of Arcadia and his fifty sons who were cursed by the father of the gods, Zeus, to become wolves. The very first Lycanthropes.

Forensic pathologist, Sophia Katsaros, receives a cryptic phone call from Greece telling her that her brothers are missing and leaves to search for them. With the help of Illyanna, her brother’s girlfriend, Sophia examines the evidence but cannot accept a bizarre possibility: Has one or both of her brothers been transformed during the Lykaia, the ceremony where Man is said to become Wolf?

Who is Marcus, a dark stranger that both repels and excites her? And what is the real story behind the 5000 year old curse of King Lycanos?

Thank you for your time, and I look forward to hearing from you,

Best,

Sharon

Dear Al,

My apologies for this unsolicited message.

It’s an earnest invitation to explore my debut novel, SHINING DAWN.
A multifaceted work of science fiction that's so far been read and liked by a wide selection of readers, it is presently ranked among the top 10.

Should you find it deserving, then a few days on your bookshelf may be all the help that it needs to hold on to it’s current position. I’ll be happy to return the read and offer my feedback.

I’m sorry if you’re inconvenienced by this message.
But, I believe that this site has been designed to help budding writers who sadly have little other means of getting their work appraised.

Sincere regards,
AGC

Dear Authonomy reviewers
Some people have been asking about progress with my children's book so i thought i'd update you. St Viper's School for Super Villains was in the top 20 for several months last year and had close to 300 reviews. I am so touched by your support and grateful for your suggestions and words of encouragement. The book is due out in May.

I have launched a small publishing venture, Electrik Inc, with three other children's writers. We made the Bookseller last week. 'Electrik Surges into Digital Publishing . . ' My book will be the first to be published under the logo. Do take a peek at our blog: electrikinc.wordpress.com and my book cover: electrikinc.wordpress.com/books.

I really would love to stay in touch with any of you. I hadn't expected to find such a wonderful writer's community when i joined Authonomy. I'm on Facebook (under St Vipers School for Super Villains by Kim Donovan) and also Twitter (under SquawkBooks).

Many thanks again for your help. I REALLY appreciate it.

Hello Al,

I love your cover design!
Please excuse the intrusion but I've learned something. After letting my book stay on Authonomy without pushing it for about a year it has stayed pretty much static. I've learned that if you want your book to move along you must tell people about it. So please excuse this interruption into your life and give me three seconds of your time.
--In Search of a Memory-, is an intrigue with light romance. It has been praised highly during the time I was promoting it. I ask you to take a look at the first chapter and see if you want to read more, or at least leave a comment. I return ALL reads. If you desire me to read your work first just let me know and I'd be glad to do so.
Sincerely yours,
Roy J. Belletete

Hi Al
Given what you have on your shelf - I thought my book might fit you. So - If you have time please check out The Angel Chord. It's a supernatural thriller wherein three strangers stumble into an End of Days demonic plot and discover that atheistic, hooker-using, guitar playing angels are the world's only hope. I'd love to hear any thoughts you might have on it. I will definately check out your book also as I always return reads. Thanks for reading my message and all the best Al

Dear Al,
As you're a top spotter, I wondered if you might take a look at my book.
I’ve been on the site for just over 2 years, reviewing and backing books and not really promoting mine, but now I’d really love to get a review.
Many thanks if you’ve backed me in the past – I’d appreciate it if you’d consider re-shelving me again.
Thanks and kind regards,

As is the case with one or two other books here, I will have time to read more once I get the badge. If you don't mind the wait, do you think you can send some chapters to my email so that I can do the reading from printed pages? Any amount you think will work for you, no limit from me.
