No problem :)
The fact that it was my only techinical suggestion shows just how professionally your work reads.

Hey Who, I've recently bunged more of Doodlebug up. Dunno what your reading habits are. Also got a kindle version (.mobi) that I made for snakegirl if you do that knida thing. Anyway, appreciate your continued support.

Just posted on the 'musicians' thread with a video of an epic blues jam from one of our open-mic nights...

Anderson yesterday, Broad today and Finn can knock over them tailenders too. Plus Swann of course. Ah! Ain't it dandy having a set of really cracking bowlers for a change...

Stay cool daddio...

Hi Pete,
Thank you for your kind message. It was my own fault this time. I'd had just about enough of reading a certain person's venomous crap on every thread, so I gave her a piece of my mind. It didn't help the situation at all but it made me feel better and I think I gave as good as I got. I really appreciate your concern. It is reassuring to know that there are some really nice people on the site. Yours Bea

Hey Pete, Im gonna start a gang. Wanna be in it? Lots of beer, wine, crisps and sarnies with your preferred fillings. Maybe a movie on Wednesdays.

LOL

It's Jenni and Pat who make all these "gang" accusations. I envisiion a dark dank hut in the dark dank woods where we all get together and plan our strategy!

Tonia Marlowe wrote 8 days ago

Ah, Pete. Not like you to join in the crap. I am merely a spectator in the Colosseum as I simply cannot be bothered to respond to her lying and utterly stupid accusations against me. (Somehow I'm a bully now and part of "the gang"!)

And why not call her by her real name - we all know it's Jenni Hall, who was here, with the same book, over a year ago.

Well, having decided to do nothing more, I've backtracked and posted on the thread. Probably not helpfu but I needed to vent. I really don't care what she does but she needs calming down. Of course, there may be good reasons why she's behaving like this but I've lost patience.

This woman is all over Twitter talking about the 'bullying' on Auth and also saying that the cyber bullies are not afraid of the Media and are saying 'Bring it on'.

Wise words, young Pete, wise words! Thanks for your encouragement. You're the only encouragement I get!!

I'm shattered... spent about an hour in the pool with George this evening as he has his life saving certificate on Friday and he's a bit worried about it. He has to swim two lengths in pyjamas, with his head above the water and he was trying to do it doggy paddle because he's not very good at breast stroke. So I've had to teach him breast stroke in two sessions in the pool, which is harder than it sounds for a boy who's not particularly at home in the water! Anyway, he's pretty determined, so he might just manage to pass.

God, the stupid, crazy things I end up doing for my kids, just to keep them from possible upset. Still, at least he was able to tell me he was worried about it and I was able to help. That's gotta say something for our relationship.

Wow... this site is full of psychos.
Just saw Jaclyn's review. Not bad.
So when's yours coming? Can't be long now. Don't forget to text me as soon as you get it, matey. Really curious to hear.

Good idea to incorporate bits of the hockey starlet story into W&G. I've done something similar with an unfinished short story I had about the bees that nested under our bath for a year.

My writing's coming out well, but it's very... s l o w. Being much more ruthless with editing too, want this to be much more spartan in style, so ditching all metaphors, similies and cliches and anything overly sentimental or obvious. Really pleased with it, just wish I could get more than an hour or two done a day. Some days I don't write a word. I was so much more driven with the Circus book, or so it seems anyway. But I have a feeling that this could be quite commercial, so I'm hopeful that it might do well if I can actually finish it.

George has got his 11+ this September, so I'm starting to stress about that a bit. We're applying to this co-ed grammar school in Potters bar which is amazing, but we've got no real fallback apart from where he is now, but hard to carry on affording the fees even with the staff discount. The grammar would save us a truckload of money, and they have a sibling policy, so we could get the other two boys in as well, when they turn 11. But tough to get in, so we'll have to prepare him a bit over the holidays. Also have to move house again in July, so that's on my mind too...

Peter, thank you for your gallant support on Saturday. I should never have stepped in but came over all bloated with righteous indignation. I will not go trip-trapping over that particular bridge again. Yours Bea

I'll have to leave more messages on your FB page, I can see or we'll never catch up.

Post ED is a funny sort of time and even after 4 months it still feels weird not to have a book up. I could put enough of my new one up to reach the 10,000 mark but I'm not sure I want the angst again.

Hello me old darlin'. Been missing you on the old FB. Wot! no more musique!

Don't know what's got into B&B, as she used to be a sweetheart. Something drastic in her life, I guess, not that that's any excuse for her current behaviour. I refuse to let it upset me and I just shake my head in wonder but I do know some people would like to do a lot more! Not me, I'm all for peaceful co-existence.

I agree Pat is at least transparent. The other one is dangerous. Thanks for what you said on the thread! If I go on like this I'll be banned before the end of the month LOL

Been following it as I have nothing better to do like writing and editing and submitting my novel. anyway, the psychological diagnosis is that you aren't a bully but can't handle assertive women. I knew that! It shines through every interraction you have with the femailes on this site.

Hey there...I just realized that I have been adding an extra o to your profile name - sorry! Hadn't talked to you in awhile - hope all is well. Wanted to share this piano piece with you - I do not know why this song just does it for me, but it does...what do you think?

Hi Peter,

I've had a tinker with first chapter of my book in an effort to go some ways towards addressing the feedback you gave me. If you happen to have time to have another look I'd be grateful. But don't feel obliged, no worries either way.
