Dear Stephan,

Do you fancy a read of something a bit different? If so please try my Harpist of Madrid. It’s an historical mix of love, music, scandal and intrigue! Hope you support the thing. Maybe pop it in one of those vacant shelf spots!

Best wishes, Gordon.

Sorry if you’ve had this before!

Hi Stephan,
I'm sending you this message because I see you enjoy a conspiracy theory or two (based on previous comments you made on Authonomy).

If you find the time, I would love for you have a look at The Spanish Helmet. I am interested in constructive criticism and do accept backing, but will never request it.

The pitch reads:
Prof. Matthew Cameron travels to New Zealand to investigate a remarkable archaeological discovery. But can he succeed in revising a nation's history, when the Government will stop at nothing to keep this secret? Matt is thrust into the role of student as he learns about trust, love, and deception.

The Spanish Helmet weaves together the stories of two men who's destinies are set to collide; that of Francisco de Hoces - a Spanish explorer lost in the southern oceans in 1525 - and that of Matthew Cameron - the academic who is following a trail of elusive clues left behind in the wake of Francisco's fateful journey.

The book is a plot-driven tale (not literary fiction) of a modern-day treasure hunt, one that is actively pursued by many amateur historians to this day.

This novel is a meticulously researched conspiracy thriller which carefully blends fact and fiction. If you want to read more about some of the sources used in The Spanish Helmet, you can visit the (slowly growing) bibliography and explanation site at www.gregscowen.com

I hope it might be something that interest you. If not, am most apologetic for sending this unsolicited message.

Warmest Regards
Greg Scowen

Hello Panaxus,

Just asking as you have some room on your shelf if you'll look at

- The Lunatic Sings -

http://www.authonomy.com/books/30880/the-lunatic-sings/

It's literary fiction and you might like it as a change of style to see if nothing else. It's had some good genuine reviews. Even if you don't feel like shelving it you may enjoy the read.

Please also consider some titles at our reading group.

Hi Stephan, we're a couple of charismatic souls with a fresh new story called The New Age Of Magic.
It’s a fast paced adventure story, driven by compelling characters and a dark premise. I know you must get a plethora of people hassling you to look over their stories but we would greatly appreciate your feedback and would love ur support if u deem us worthy.

Hello Stephan,
This month I'm putting forth my last effort for the editor's desk. I've risen as high as 15 and fallen because the time to achieve such a goal is nearly impossible for all but the most dedicated. So I ask your support one last time. Please consider backing my "Purple Eyes" this month, any number of days. After this month, I will remain on authonomy enough to return the favor in any way I can and shelve the most worthy books. I fully understand if your loyalties lie elsewhere, but would greatly appreciate it if you'd give it a chance look.

Thank you and God bless.

Good day fellow writer and child of God,
You have been 5* today.

A good mystery must always involve who, what, where, why, when, and how. This is certainly true about the collections of books that make up the bible, the greatest mystery ever. One of the mysteries that it contains is whether or not Jesus committed transgression(s) against the commandments and laws Moses gave. He stood trail before Pilate accused by the Chief Priests and Elders of sedition and subverting the people to uprising.

Standing before Pontius Pilate who threatens to condemn him to be crucified, Jesus of Nazareth stood silent. It was written that he would do this in Isaiah 53:7. Would there be evidence that could have been presented to save Christ from this suffering? As Abel's blood cried out to God after Cain had slain him, the blood of Christ calls out to us from scripture in his defense.

This manuscript presents the testimonial evidence that proves which leads to conviction that Christ was innocent of any transgression of the law of Moses. To believe it - this is a must read.

Hope you will find the time to take a gander at this exegesis and possibly * and back.

If this is a repeat of a former request, please forgive the intrudence. Must advertise to sell.

Yours in Christ
Harold

Hello Stephan,
This month, I am making a serious effort to reach the desk. If you are the slightest bit interested in my book, I would be grateful if you chose this month in which to read it, and hopefully back it, and even more hopefully, back it for several days.
As for your book, I have a few times been named on forum lists as a good reviewer, and to my knowledge, I have never failed to return a read. The only thing is that, for a careful read, you might have to wait until February, as I’m just a bit busy this month, making myself known to as many people as possible.

Hi Stephen,

First off, I want to say sorry for the message. I promised myself I wouldn't go around begging to be read or shelved but I want to keep my position as long as possible this month. But please, feel free to ignore me from here on out!

If you feel Mark of Eternity deserves a spot on your shelf, I'd appreciate the support for the month of January, whether it's for one day or twenty. I will do my best to return the favor in any way you would like, just let me know! I believe in my book and I feel if people read it or look at it again, they will agree. Or at least tell me what I can improve!

And don't worry, I won't hound you. If you don't answer, I'll take that as a no and move on! I'm happy either way, this website has been such an asset to my writing and whether I make the ED or not, it's done what I hoped it would do and that is educate me.

Thanks for your time and consideration! I hope to hear from you and have a wonderful 2011.

Hello Stephan,

The month and year are coming to a close and five wonderful books are moving on to the ED. Do you have space on your shelf for The Qualities of Wood? If you’ve backed in the past, thanks so much for your prior support, and for reconsidering now. And if you haven’t seen the book yet, it’s the story of one woman’s journey of self-discovery. Oh, and a dead body is found in her backyard. I’d appreciate it if you’d take a look!

Hi Stephan,

I'm here looking for your consideration of "Savannah Fire," a contemporary southern suspense I've just posted on Authonomy.

Would you please review "Savannah Fire" critically and see if it meets your criteria for inclusion on your bookshelf?

In the spirit of the 'new' Authonomy, there is no reward for shelving "Savannah Fire" other than the satisfaction of knowing you are supporting a quality book on the Authonomy list.

I hope you and those you love have a sensational new year..

Al
