Hi Jess
I am currently at No 15 with my Mary's Magic Muffins & Other Tales for Children. I am looking for support of it to take me nearer the coveted ED. I return reads with an honest feedback. As I think it is best to be honest. I will be here for a long time and will support anyone who helps me make it to the desk. Thank you for taking the time to read this message.
Brian.

Dear Jess, Thank you so much for your support. I appreciate this very much. I've found the site quite daunting the past year, considering I've never been on a site like this before! So I had to become a fast learner. This is also my first attempt to get anything published and a year into the project I'm wondering what possessed me to start the ball rolling with a children's book, but I love the genre. I would be grateful if you perhaps would have a look at my first four chapters.(again) The first chapter is new, the rest is a re-write in a way. When I put together a synopsis, I realized that my mc's emotional arc was definitely not well-defined, so I hope what makes Flame tick will be more acceptable. :-) I promise to reciprocate and have decided to give shelf space more regularly, during May. Kindest regards Maretha

Jess,
You might want to click on www.scribd.com/dloganw whereby David Welch interviews me regarding the North Korean situation in "Nuts in the North." This could be a good venue for your book to get Twitter exposure.

Hi Jess! Just a quick message asking for help. You once had good things to say about Fade, and now that it is getting higher in the ranks, I could really use some extra support. If you could consider backing me now or in February, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks so much.

Hello Jess,

Seasons greetings.

Hope you are well. Maybe you would like to try out my new satire, Doghouse Blues. Happy to reciprocate. Here is an endorsement:

I was attracted to Doghouse Blues from the pitch alone because it was so very different. There are so many budding writers out there who want to earn the same sort of money as J K Rowling by writing exactly the same kind of book and , to be frank, I am getting a bit tired of it.
This, on the other hand, struck me as being an original piece of work. The product of a lively mind and written by someone who is an excellent observer of the real world out there and who knows how to translate his observations into print. Just the right amount of dialogue, which carries the story along well.
I have not read the complete book (yet) but have dipped into it fairly freely to see if the momentum is maintained. It certainly is.
Philip John

Looking forward to reading your comments on the Doghouse Blues webpage.

All the best,

Clive

Hi Jess, Thank you so much for such a lovely surprise, backing me. I really owe you so much. I've already commented and rated your book, but will try to read more - I didn't have time to complete the story so I'm going to be back and let you know what I think about the rest :-)

Dear LittleMissWriter, I'm going for the "shameless plug" type of scenario and have decided to take the plunge and ask all my friends to please support me for the next month. I need your backing and top rating, because I've restructured my book and listened and applied many fine suggestions which hopefully, helped me to produce a top book here on this site. While I've been busy doing this, I've been stuck in the doldrums of the 200's. With your help and if you think the story warrants it, I might be able to move a few steps closer to the coveted editor's desk.
Please remind me if I've not commented or backed your book so that I can also get my act together. Thank you.
Kindest regards
Maretha

I just wanted to stop by and thank you for the constant support of my book for all these months. It means so very much and I can never really repay you. I am so honored that you enjoyed my book so much to back it thus far.
If my book isn't on your watch list, I just ask that you would also add it there so that my work remains stable. Also I just ask that you keep my work on your shelf just a little longer.
I can't thank you enough for all the support to get me to a place I never imagined I would make it to. Thank you so much.
God bless.

When you get a chance, will you visit Finger Bones? He loves LoTs of stars. :) I will be glad to return the read.

Hi.
Okay this is kind of spam, but I'm only sending it out to my friends and not everyone.
In October I'm doing a complete rewrite of my book. At present it is called 'Up The Hill Backwards' but that will change too.

I am asking you nicely if you'd take a look at it and leave constructive comments to help me with the rewrite. I will read and comment on your book in return. Any backers picked up along the way will also be reciprocated.

It has taken me over four years to write this story and a lot of people shy away from it. I'm a tough cookie though and can take it on the chin, so please be honest. It won't affect how I judge your story.

You can see from my story how hard it was to write. The rewrite is going to be just as traumatic but I have to do it.

I'm sorry for the invasion and thanks for your time.

Best wishes Jesamine.

My pleasure. If you could spare a little time to look at mine it would be appreciated, but I'd understand if it isn't your thing. It's quite different in tone to your own writing.

Hi there! I just wanted to say “hi” and introduce myself. My name is Michelle, and I am a Christian non-fiction writer here on Authonomy. I am new, but would love to help you in any way I can.

I have four books here, but would appreciate it so very much if you would take the time to comment and review just one:

http://authonomy.com/books/47250/a-woman-inspired-collection-1/

I know you may not agree with the content, and that’s okay. I would simply love your opinion on the introduction and my general writing style.

My first book is the one most readers seem to identify with because it is born out of my life experiences. To sum it up, I would say it’s about finding the extraordinary presence of God in the ordinary course of life.

My second book is in a "Dear Abby" format, and the answers can be quite cut and dry.

My third and fourth books are in the style of uplifting daily devotionals.

But, to come and meet me and my amazing family, which I truly hope you will...you'll find us in the first book. :)

I hope my stories put a smile on your face today, and warmth in your heart.

Thank you so much for your time! I will review and comment on your book in return.

I also have shelf space, and if I love your book, I will shelve it and back it!

Warmly,

Michelle

"The Prince and the Singularity – A Circular Tale" is a book with one big advantage, one only needs to read the first 40 lines to know whether one is going to like the story or not. If after the first 40 lines you're not hooked, no need to bother reading the rest.

mdws77 wrote 262 days ago

Thanks for accepting my friend request. If you need help, I do mean it when I say to send me a message. I hope you can check out my book and maybe back it down to the top 5. Good luck and have fun on the site.

Hi there – it’s me again…

BLOODSTONES is so close to the Ed's desk I can almost smell the mahogany. I was briefly at number one, but we're all jostling for space up there in the top five and I'm hanging on by the tips of my fingers...aaargh!

If you could give me the few last days of the month on your shelf, I might just make it to that all important Harper Collins Editor’s read.

So if there’s some room for me on your stylish bookshelf, many thanks, all the best from me, your Authonomy friend, Cas.

I won’t forget you…
