"The Prince and the Singularity – A Circular Tale" is a book with one big advantage, one only needs to read the first 40 lines to know whether one is going to like the story or not. If after the first 40 lines you're not hooked, no need to bother reading the rest.

Drip drip drip drip drip............the journey begins...........into a world made up......of rust and rain......drip drip drip drip drip drip........

Since his beloved wife died, Bernard McArtrey, a childless widower in his forties and a music shop owner, has continuously smelled rust. One day he finds a one-eyed girl in his shop. she's Hazelnut and on the run from Big Daddy and his army of thugs and perverted clients. The stories of sex exploitation and torure she tells him are too much for him to stand apart and just forget about it all. what Bernard doesn't know, Big Daddy can see through Hazelnut's scooped-off eye, which he's implanted on himself, and then Bernard Makes a mistake, his own life will be in danger. So he and Hazelnut will embark on a journey where they meet beautiful Queen, Big Daddy's sister. She's set up The Retreat, a place where unfortunate BD's victim can find shelter, and is waiting for Hazelnut to create the 'Tetra', that's the team that will go back to BD's mansion, fight and, hopefully, kill him. but, as the old saying goes, 'all that glitters is not gold,' and this is what Bernard's going to find out.

hi, rex......
this is tony colina inviting you to read the first fifteen chapters of my OF RUST AND RAIN....feel free to drop me a line or two and comment on it...it'll be much appreciated. course, i'm in for a swap read, if you want.

Rex,

The issue of childhood sexual abuse often features in our media, but very few books describe the ramifications on the life of the child. My memoir does not flinch from the horror of the story, but the overall tone is one of triumph over adversity. This is why so many have said it deserves to be published. Will you please consider giving it your support?

Hi Rex,

I would like to ask you for support of my book Mr. and Mrs. Grassroots: How Barack Obama, Two Bookstore Owners, and 300 Volunteers Did It.

I would appreciate it if you can back and star my book.

It is the "real story" of Barack Obama's early campaigns and how he did it. With the help of a couple bookstore owners who helped create one of the biggest grassroots campaigns in American and world history.

Thanks,

John Presta, Mr. Grassroots

Hi Rex and welcome to the site. If you have any questions re this madhouse just give me a shout and I'll try to answer them. I will check out your book as soon as I can - pitch sounds good. If you like supernatural thrillers then my book might fit you. The Angel Chord - three strangers stumble into an End of Days demonic plot and discover that atheistic, hooker-using, guitar playing angels are the world's only hope. It's at number 8 and I'm trying my best to get it in the top 5 for the end of the month to get a Harper Collins review. I'd love to hear any thoughts on it if you had time. All the best Rex and I always return reads.
Derek

Hi Rex,

“Informers and blackmailers, phrenologists and dissectionists, lowlifes and murderers in early Victorian Dublin.”

I’d really appreciate it if you could have a look at the start of my first novel, The Morning Drop.

Let me know if you post any of your writing here.

Cheers,
Andrew.

Hi Rex Eleven,
My book is simply called ‘Madeline’ (Link below)
She has stolen the hearts of both women and men on this site.
In only 7 weeks is has quickly risen from obscurity to the rank of 18 and hopefully with more ‘Backings’ can progress further.
If you are not hooked by the prologue, then ditch it…
I would dearly appreciate some feedback / comments and /or a backing from you please.
Best regards
David

Hi Rex - just extending the hand of friendship. Welcome to the strange and wonderful world of Authonomy.

I'm still fairly new to the site, but I've found it to be an extremely constructive and rewarding experience so far, though it does pay to have a thick skin sometimes.

Backing books, making friends – that seems to be the way to raise the profile, so here I am. It would be fantastic to hear from you.

All the best, have a great day - Cas

PS: If you do happen to get the uncontrollable urge to look at either of my books, here are the links
http://authonomy.com/books/42586/slow-poison/
http://www.authonomy.com/books/42590/bloodstones/

Slow Poison is dark and brutal, Bloodstones is a gentler read, but gets tougher as the story progresses. A little like Larsson, Welsh, Niffenegger I have been told.

Warning: both of my books contain explicit sexual acts, frequent swearing and disturbing scenes of violence. Please do not read if you are of a sensitive nature or under age in your territory.
