Works for me :)

Trailer Bride wrote 7 days ago

That's silly :)

I disapprove of that guy - whatever his name was - who went around backing books as a means of tapping up writers and promoting his company but that wouldn't deter me from supporting you.

Please do make sure to let people here know when it is published. I'm sure a lot of people will want to buy a copy.

Trailer Bride wrote 7 days ago

It does look likely but, as I said, I haven't heard from her since November so I have no clue.

And how you doin'? Did I read somewhere that your book is being published? About time.

Thank you!

Glad your whet was whetted. Now if I can only whet those potential whetters.

Whet appreciation...

:p

Precisely, you're summarising perfectly why B&B is so much fun.

We've not had failure of malevolent intent on this level to take the piss out of for ages.

:)

GRHWagner wrote 12 days ago

That kind of bites, I know, but unless you have it copyrighted, it is best t be safe,... and if you have interest from a publishing angle, it is best to keep people like me curious. Haha!

Best wishes!

I'm sorry not to have gotten back to you sooner. I did want to touch on that theft thing with you, but got "under the weather," so to speak. I'm doing much better, now, so I will ask if you are aware of the "Poor Man's copyright" and that you can obtain your own real copyright for as little US$35 through the US Copyright Office, Washington, without printing one hard copy word. If you want more information on these two ways to protect your creations, let me know. I have done both, and actually delayed submitting my first upload here until I had my Washington copyright verification # in hand. Best wishes.

I am going to have to get back into it at some point.

I'm also going to have to edit up the story thread at some point, also long neglected...

Pete Marchetto wrote 22 days ago

Precisely. And this is nothing.

No worries, it's all meaningless.

:)

GRHWagner wrote 23 days ago

I just finished what was uploaded on the last day of April... Corky had dropped the mirror into the casket, the boys had found it there, and Corky was rethinking keeping the cross, considering whether to put it in the casket, too... unless I missed something??

Pete Marchetto wrote 23 days ago

If stuff like this caused genuine problems to anyone, Cass, life would be too easy for people like Joey.

As it is it's like an ant berating elephants. It's meaningless. I'm cool.

:)

Anyway, back to the project in hand...

Cass,

Hey. I saw that you were online.

HELL'S SUPER has been picked up by a small press, and it should be published in about four months. I'll let you know when it's out.

Hope you're doing well. You're still on my bookshelf, ya know. :)

Mark

Maybe, my dear, but I'll just come back again.

Goodnight

Pete Marchetto wrote 23 days ago

Fair enough, but I'm pretty sure he does have a small willy, so it's fair enough in essence.

:p

Thanks for the backing, Cass!

You're welcome! How the he!! is Corky going to battle Edgar without the mirror (and the necklace)??? It's a well written story. I read to the end... and yes, I wish there was more!
