I am Jack's failure to follow his own 6th and 8th commandment.

1: Thou shalt not take this place too seriously.
2: Thou shalt not place ones book on one’s own shelf.
3: Thou shall offer honest critique and not false praise.
4: Thou shalt not use the star rating system to punish enemies.
5: Thou shalt not create fake accounts for the purposes of insulting your fellow authors, backing your book, or talking to yourself.
6: Thou shalt not spam your fellow authors, or ask for backings and reads if thou are unwilling to read their book first.
7: Thou shall use this site to network and improve their craft
8: Thou shall not spend more time here then you spend writing.
9: Thou will try and read, Miami. http://www.authonomy.com/books/34153/miami/
10: Thou shall not take this place too seriously.

Well technically, I am willing to swap reads, so perhaps I am in the clear. Yet, make no mistake, this is me spamming you in hopes that you will consider commenting on, or backing my novel.

I thank you for your consideration.

Hey Mike, just wanted to thank you for taking the time to read and comment on my chapters. Great that you made this effort and I really appreciate your feedback. I haven't spent much time on authonomy recently as I've been focusing on the real business of writing (i.e. writing!) but will definitely take the time to read your stuff. Good to hear from you.

Hi Mike
Given what's on your shelf I thought my book might suit you. The Angel Chord is a supernatural thriller - three strangers stumble into an End of Days demonic plot and discover that atheistic, hooker-using, guitar playing angels are the world's only hope. I'd love to hear any thoughts you might have on it if you had time. All the best Mike and I always return reads.

Many thanks. P

Hi Mike,

Luminous Dark, currently ranked at 3 the authonomy chart, is a novel about a young man who comes to Russia to kill himself.

"Three hundred pages? I'm not reading that!"
-the author's mother

I'm trying to stay on the desk of course but I'm not asking after blind backings, just letting people know about the book so they can do with that what they like.

I'm happy to trade reads and honest feedback with anyone who is interested.

Best regards,

Ross

Hullo there. I'm still a reader on this site scouting for new authors to add to my webbie, but I just uploaded a novel myself this week. If you decide it's not worthy of your backing can you also take a look at the other books on my shelf? Many excellent writers here!

Hey, sorry if I've told you the one about the Lunatic before - check it out if I haven't, but there's a Romance going on too now!

:/

I’m very sorry if I’ve previously messaged you, but I’ve had one of those glitches that wipes out backers and watchlists. I lost nearly 60 backers and over 100 watchlists and can’t find most of my old backers as they backed me over 2 months ago and the RSS feeds don’t go back that far..

If I was on your watchlist or if you backed me before I would greatly appreciate your support again for - The Lunatic Sings - or if you’d take a look at it if it’s new to you.

THE LUNATIC SINGS

- "like a William S. Burroughs novel with a point"

- "Deftly imitating waves of consciousness"

- "the reader glides through … It’s like dancing in someone’s mind"

- "You should be a playwright as this should be spoken"

- "like a meditation" – "A breathtaking concept"

- "… glorious driving rhythms of the syntax. It's prose that has an inner music that almost compels us to speak it aloud. "

- "Out of the mouth of this one comes reflections of both humanity and sanity."

If you’ve considered Lunatic before I’ve put up a very different book recently too, a Romance, so rather than spam you for a read for that in the future, and maybe as an antidote if I’ve messaged you before for Lunatic, you might like to take a look at ‘The Book of Esther’.

THE BOOK OF ESTHER

- “I found this mesmerizing”

- “I love the way your words allow us to connect with your emotions, the way they compel us to reminisce about our own experiences, and the way they capture both happiness and sadness so perfectly.”

- “I can tell you already that I love it. …the lover and the beloved. Your story reminds me of how beautiful and yet painful both of those roles can be.”

Thank you,

John

Mike,
I'm messaging the top talent spotters to ask for your support of Titanic: Rose Dawson's Story. The film is scheduled for rerelease in three dimensions in April of 2012, a hundred years since the disaster. I could use your help to reach the editor's desk in time for my novelization to be published prior to the rerelease of Titanic.

Hi Mike,

Just asking as you have some room on your shelf if you'll look at

- The Lunatic Sings -

http://www.authonomy.com/books/30880/the-lunatic-sings/

It's literary fiction and you might like it as a change of style to see if nothing else. I won't mind if you don't feel like shelving it, you may enjoy the read.

Hello. My name is James Revino, the author of ‘The World Blinked.’ I was hoping you might be able to take a look at it and let me know what you think, the good and most importantly, the bad. Of course, if you found it interesting and wanted to rate it and/or back it, that would be much appreciated as well. Have a good one.

Hi,
I am looking for true horror fans to read my new book, ‘The Nosferatu Effect’ and provide me with open and honest, constructive feedback. I will make note of all comments given as after all that is what we are here for to improve our work.
The book is about Dr John Simmons who’s ground breaking work is sabotaged to prevent him from marketing his medical marvel. In doing so the experimental virus escapes, releasing potentially the worst plague mankind has ever seen. A new twist on the vampire genre and hopefully one you will enjoy.
I am not requesting or pestering people to shelve my book, I leave that to the individual if they truly think my work is worth backing.
I hope you will take a look and most of all enjoy a good read.
Best Regards
Andy Strutt
