I am Jack's failure to follow his own 6th and 8th commandment.

1: Thou shalt not take this place too seriously.
2: Thou shalt not place ones book on one’s own shelf.
3: Thou shall offer honest critique and not false praise.
4: Thou shalt not use the star rating system to punish enemies.
5: Thou shalt not create fake accounts for the purposes of insulting your fellow authors, backing your book, or talking to yourself.
6: Thou shalt not spam your fellow authors, or ask for backings and reads if thou are unwilling to read their book first.
7: Thou shall use this site to network and improve their craft
8: Thou shall not spend more time here then you spend writing.
9: Thou will try and read, Miami. http://www.authonomy.com/books/34153/miami/
10: Thou shall not take this place too seriously.

Well technically, I am willing to swap reads, so perhaps I am in the clear. Yet, make no mistake, this is me spamming you in hopes that you will consider commenting on, or backing my novel.

I thank you for your consideration.

Jack

Dee,
I had you on my list for a return read with a book title of Dark Side. I dropped by today to read, and you have left. :(

If you re-post please let me know.

All the best,

Magic Door knob
T.D.Holland

When Ricky’s dad goes missing, he leaves Ricky with a small brass doorknob as a reminder of their days spent together, inventing things. Quickly, Ricky discovers that this is no ordinary doorknob; in fact, the brass article is magic, and when placed on a flat surface, opens a portal to fantastic and different lands.

Hi, Donna,
Please allow me to share with you briefly,
My novel, Isles End, has a deeper meaning and purpose...It's Christianity undercover & Biblical truths incognito, designed to deliver the message of a loving "Creative Designer" to the (unsuspecting) reader through (hopefully...), an intriguing story line. Maybe you'll take a look...?

Hi Donna,

Also pretty new to the site just trying to get others to check out my book that I just finished writing.

Hope you have some time to comment or, even better, back the book and read a little more than most people read on the site :). You know, if you have the time.

Happy to return the read.

The book is about the slow and painful demise of a young woman who lost herself in her abusive relationship with the perfect man.

Thanks
-Aliah

Hi Donna thanks for backing Tales for Children. I'll try to return the read later this week.
Brian.

Hi I wondered if I could interest you in reading my ‘Tales for Children’. The title says it all really, but it has been said here on authonomy that adults like to read it too. So if you fancy something different then give it a try. I always return reads.
Thanks in advance Brian.

Hi Donna, loved the opening chapters of your book. You are clearly a talented writer and have commented/rated and backed your book today. Really like the Christian theme I've woven themes of faith, hope and courage into my story. Sophia (one of the sisters in Georgina's Family) finds inner peace and balance when she discovers God. Wish you lots of luck. Maria :)

Hi
Would you mind having a look at my novel? I'm looking for feedback and backings from those who think it's worthy. It's contemporary British fiction, with a bit of a gritty urban edge (i hope).
I am of course happy to return all reads.

Hope you can find the time.
Nathan

Hi Donna, welcome to authonomy; I joined in November and am enjoying the contact with so many writers - plus the opportunity to read a lot of great material. I have just read your pitch, found it interesting and have placed Sweet Consolation on my watchlist to read soon. Would you be interested in swapping reads and having a look at my book 'Georgina's Family'? Maria :)

Dear Donna,
Profound apologies for this unsolicited message.
SHINING DAWN, presently ranked 10th, is a multifaceted work of science fiction set in a dystopian alternate reality. May I interest you to take a look?
Should you find it deserving, then a few days on your bookshelf can do my story a world of good.
I’ll be pleased to return the read and offer my feedback.
Please pardon me if I've written to you before.
Sincere regards,
AGC

Hi Donna,

I hope you're well & enjoying the Authonomy experience. To try and tempt you to read the prologue of my book 'Parabolic' (currently 90 odd in the chart & rising), here are a couple of esteemed reviews of the debauched & tragic travelogue following AJ & Bench as they make their roller coaster trip round the world :-

Alex F.M.F. said:-
"This is great. The snappy narration suits Bench's character completely, and I think I'm a little in love with AJ. Sad and funny and hopeful and exciting - you're playing to all my emotions and now I feel like I need a bit of a lie down and some hot chocolate".

Eponymous Rex said:-
"Hip, compelling, marketable, well written, timely, SHELVED".

Henry said:-
"This is superb - the relationship between AJ and Bench is hilarious and yet so touching".

Here's the short pitch:- "3 months left to live, 90 grand to spend. What would you do? This is Parabolic".

Follow AJ and Bench on their downward trajectory here:-

I'd love to hear what you think, so please give it a read. If you like it, I'd be very grateful if you could back it, star it & comment on it.

Many thanks,

Harry

Hi deegirl, would you be interested in taking a look at My Dogs & Me? Tq

sammyhksmith wrote 499 days ago

Wow! Thank you so much for reading all the chapters! So many people on this site don't read more than one! I've WL'd your book and I promise to read it tonight or tomorrow - please please remind me if I haven't read it by tomorrow night :)

I used to have a lot more up on the site, but unfortunately, I got "trolled" and took my book off for a while - I'm working at getting all my supporters back and then I'll upload the rest :D

Thank you again, it means a lot to me

Sam :)
