I am done! My book has been edited! Read it, find yourself in my situation, compare your reaction to mine and judge if you must!

What do you do when life is too intense? When bad and good things happen without giving you a break?
When you say to yourself, ok, this is it, now I should be able to have a "normal life".... but you get hit again, and harder. There will be part two of this book, because "It can't always rain..."

Hi Katie, congratulations on becoming a high rating talent spotter, I am not sure how this thing works, I climbed to 700 but have slipped to my current rating. I am pleased however, that my book Tide and Time: At The Rock, has climbed up to the top 10. I wondered if you would consider checking it out if you have not seen it yet or supporting it if you reviewed it before, and are happy to support me with the final push. It's USP is that its fact, fiction and really useful guidance that can help challenging young people. I have had a lot of help from this site and hope a good review can help me to find somewhere I can publish it, so it can begin to help others. Thanks for your time, good luck with any work you have posted. :-)
Kindest Regards
Lenny Banks

Hello Katie,

Hope you are well. Maybe you would like to try out my new satire, Doghouse Blues. Here is an endorsement:

I was attracted to Doghouse Blues from the pitch alone because it was so very different. There are so many budding writers out there who want to earn the same sort of money as J K Rowling by writing exactly the same kind of book and , to be frank, I am getting a bit tired of it.
This, on the other hand, struck me as being an original piece of work. The product of a lively mind and written by someone who is an excellent observer of the real world out there and who knows how to translate his observations into print. Just the right amount of dialogue, which carries the story along well.
I have not read the complete book (yet) but have dipped into it fairly freely to see if the momentum is maintained. It certainly is.
Philip John

Looking forward to reading your comments on the Doghouse Blues webpage.

All the best,

Clive

Hello, my name is James Revino. I am the author of ‘Hollow.’ I was wondering if you might be able to take a look at my work and tell me what you think, good and bad. Any critique would be much appreciated, it is the best way to improve. Of course, if you wanted to back it, that would be great as well. Have a good day, and thanks for your time.

"The Prince and the Singularity – A Circular Tale" is a book with one big advantage, one only needs to read the first 40 lines to know whether one is going to like the story or not. If after the first 40 lines you're not hooked, no need to bother reading the rest.

Hi there Katie,

I see we have both supported TDonna's lovely book! :)

In case you're looking for a new book to read, here's my pitch:

He struggled to eat, to sleep, to crawl.
Then…to play, to imagine, to interact.
And then, as he grew, he even struggled to behave.

I was sure that I had all the answers and knew a lot of things—
before Autism entered our home.
But what I did not yet know,
was the depth of the darkness that would touch by soul,
or the mercy of God that was deeper still,
or the whole new way I would cling to hope…
Hope for my boy.

He is the reason I wrote Now To Him, currently ranked at #32. It would be a great honor if you would consider reading, commenting, and backing it, should you find it worthy. Your support would be a great help.

Thanks so much,
Faith Rose

Hi Katie, yup, I have it on my list for backing, only a couple rotations behind. Will you be able to nudge me again in a couple of weeks? ♥♥

TDonna wrote 262 days ago

Katie, what can I say? You're absolutely wonderful!!

I’d like to say a huge, heartfelt “Thank You” for your steadfast support for No Kiss Goodbye! Your friendship means more to me than I could put into words—thank you from the bottom of my heart!

When you have a moment, if you’d like to view a book page for No Kiss Goodbye with some of the photographs I may include, here’s the link: www.facebook.com/NoKissGoodbye

You probably already know that you don’t need a facebook account to view the photos, only if you wish to give it a Like. Click on Photos, then on the photo album One Romanian’s Adventure.

Warmest hugs, with my deepest appreciation,
Donna ♥♥

Hi Katie – it’s me again…

This could be the last few days before BLOODSTONES lands on the Editor’s Desk. Nothing’s set in stone though, so if you feel like backing the book until the end of August, your blessings will be bountiful!

I have made some serious edits to this version of BLOODSTONES. I wanted the work to be match fit to give it the best chance of receiving a serious read. I am indebted to many of you here on Aunthonomy. I have received some wonderful pointers and insights from numerous Forum participants and the readers who dare to give something new a chance. Thank you all. The work has improved because of you.

So if you can spare some room for BLOODSTONES on your stylish bookshelf, your help will be gratefully received

All the best from me, your Authonomy friend, Cas.

PS: Just let me know when I can do some of the same for you…

Hello there, Katie!

In the mood for a fast paced read? Perhaps you would be interested in hazarding a few chapters of 2175! You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll be on the edge of your seat! Follow Angelo Rodriguez as he is confronted with the age old question, “Can one person make a difference?” As his eyes are opened to the dystopic world around him, Angelo is forced to choose sides in what looks to be an imminent war between those who rule and those who wish to fight back.

I would truly appreciate any time you donate to reading 2175, and would be immensely thankful for any stars, feedback, watches or shelves you can spare. I’m always good for a book swap, and I will always comment back. It has already risen 5000 positions in four weeks with strong support from this community. Your support could push it even higher!

I hope you can drop into the world of 2175 soon. Thanks!

Just like you I have also been supporting the brilliant ‘No Kiss Goodbye’ by T. Donna, and would like you to also consider supporting my book at the end of this month, which is the next Biographical, Harper True Life, Christian book in the rankings. My book has a prophetic substance to it, as after all I am a prophet; for instance this is what I said about Donna’s book four and a half months ago:

The opening three chapters seem to be purposefully tempo’d designed to push the emotional buttons and drawer the reader in. Well crafted language challenges the reader to take on board a broad range of feelings, very good descriptive tracts make for total realism that shows the clarity to which the writer can clearly remember all these events vividly, which adds to the books over all 'bite'. Already doing well this one's defiantly heading for the Desk!

Now look, it’s at number 1 :o)

Katie,

The subject matter of my memoir tends to polarize potential readers, but I hope you will decide to read it anyway.

"A hugely impressive piece of writing" James Lark 'More Tea, Jesus?'

"Beautifully written, heartbreaking yet funny...the language and flow is perfection" Elspeth McGregor 'Paragon'

My dear Katie,

Words don’t begin to express my heartfelt gratitude for your steadfast support for No Kiss Goodbye! Your backing for two more weeks will be such a tremendous help for me to remain in the top five and receive an editor’s review.

Many, many, many thanks from the bottom of my heart!

Warm hugs,
Donna ♥

Hi Katie,
I’ve just posted my new book Stop the Insanity. It is a manifesto for those of us who are fed up with our dysfunctional Congress and would like to do something about it. I’ve put down my ideas on how we can cause a change along with descriptions of some of the things I believe need to be changed.

I would really like to hear what you think about my ideas. No problem if you disagree but please let me know why and what you would do instead.

Of course many Authonomy members are not American and/or don’t care about American politics. For you I have put in two bonus sections, written summaries of two very expensive seminars I attended to learn more about marketing and selling books, particularly for those who self publish. I think these two sections, chapters 11 and 12, will be of interest to all.

I am looking forward to hearing what you think.

Sincerely,

David Welch/dloganw

Hi Katie,
Are you unhappy with the dysfunctional U.S. Congress and interested in doing something about it. I am and have written a book explaining how we can change things and also describing some of the things that need to be changed.

On August 15th I am posting my book, Stop the Insanity, on Authonomy. A large number of friends on Authonomy have agreed to support the book so I am quite confident it will move rapidly up the ED chart and anyone who backs it will receive a boost in their TSR rating.

Naturally I don’t expect people to back my book simply because it will help your TSR. Still I need your backing and am prepared to send you the first chapter in advance so you can take a look. Send your e-mail address to me at: david@teddybeareducation.com and I will send the first chapter in a word file so you can decide if you will help.

Or, if you don’t have time to take a look before next Wednesday please take a look after it is posted. Quite frankly my goal is to reach the ED so HC can take a look and hopefully publish the book which would be a big first step towards doing something about our dysfunctional Congress. So I would greatly appreciate your backing of the book even if is is just for a few weeks as it soars from 5,000 plus to under 300 on the ED rankings. And of course I want constructive comments on how to improve the writing so I can make my points even clearer. And if you disagree with some of the things I say please write and let me know what you disagree with and why. My plan is to self publish the book before year end so I need all the input I can get for helpful editing.

Sincerely,

David Welch/dloganw
