Thank You so much Warrick. That would be a tremendous help and greatly appreciated. God Bless You My Friend.

Hi Warrick.
To be honesty Bud, I couldn't really decide what to pick for my Profile Pic. I couldn't put up a photo of me because it would have given everyone nightmares and had the site shut down. And I only really have one self photo. We keep it on the mantle piece to stop the grand children away from the fire.

I do agree though, it would make a great book cover. actually, the one I chose for the book jacket, is similar to this one. I'm just waiting to see if it is approved or not.
God Bless You My Friend.

look at me...googling and learning what "The Ashes" is exactly.
That sounds fun! More fun than dominoes, even.

How freaking lovely to hear from you! I've been a bad girl...not really reading and doing reviews of late...bad sheri. Seems I'm a slave to my teenage son and his summer schedule, at least for a few more months until he gets his driving permit. We've had so many gray rainy days of late I thought I was in England! Though the people here have funny accents, not nearly as nice as your lots. Today however was lovely blue skies. One of my favorite things is to float in the pool and look up and see a big green tree silhouetted against that blue sky....the color of which you could never replicate in a thousand years. Had a weird day actually focused on ME a bit....had a massage...decadent! Well off to the store with me...enjoy the solstice, tennis etc and I just know you'll get your drink in the garden. When you make ED you will hear me cheering from 4000 miles away.
All the best,
your faithful servant,
Sheri / CQ

Hi Warrick,

Thank you for the welcome. I would be more than happy to read your work (which from the small excerpt sounds like a very interesting concept). I will try to read it within the next day or so, time permitting. (Busy schedule and all that jazz)

Hello Warrick
I've read the comments you have made on other writer's books and feel you give a fair commentary. I would welcome your support during the writing of DOLL, and I will read your writing with interest and also give fair commentary.
Cheers from Alan (DOLL)

Hello Warrick
Thanks for taking the time. I found the comments constructive and, in particular, will be looking at the way and the pace at which the characters are introduced.
On reflection, putting them alll together in the clubhouse looks like an easy way out and it was certainly not intended that way.
If you get the time to look at any more I think the Hooray for Henry (chapter 14) sums up the nonsense I ws aiming for.
I've freed up some time myself now and will get back to you soon after delving into your world.
Thanks again
Geoff

Thank you for your message - appreciated. I will certainly try to read your book, and I agree that half an hour is enough to know what you think! I have changed the pitch for 'Ferelith Shield and the Aldeburgh Hambling' so that it is much clearer, and uploaded a photo for the cover and one of me - it all takes time to manage, doesn't it? Hope to get back to you soon. Good luck.

I'm getting a bit frustrated. I have considered just pulling my book because I am so discouraged. I don't understand the process. As more people back me, I fall. Does that make sense? Not to me. So I sit here and pray no one notices me. then, WHAM! someone adds me to their bookshelf and I fall another notch. Any suggestions? I'm feeling a bit down about all this today.

Sincerely,
Donna

Hey Warrick, Getting it on with God, eh? Count me in!!

Randall A Stone wrote 8 days ago

Hi Warrick.
I greatly admire your honesty sir. As I say at the top of my profile, I will help out where I can. Since joining the site a few short days ago, I have been inundated with requests to read the works of others and, like you, I try to give them around a half hour each.

This is the only problem with our game, the time in which we have to do it, especially when we're going hell for leather with our own work and trying to meet a deadline.

I have to say, your novel seems intriguing so I am definitely going to give it a look over. Like you, I'm not over struck on doing deals. I believe that if a work is strong enough, it will find its own audience regardless. Having said that, even though I will look your book over and comment, don't feel obliged to return the favour unless you really want to. So, until later My Friend, God Bless.

Hello, I am Rachel author of the Bloodline....I just pressed the wrong button when editing my novel and lost ALL OF MY BACKERS, AND ALL OF MY WATCHLISTS!

Please, can you replace me on your shelf/watchlist.

Im still at 170 as it just happened two minutes ago, but Im going to lose 6 months of hard work on the site if I cant get this back!

Im going to cry!!!

Please please help. If you go into my page now you will see I am not lying, I wouldn't have a rank of 170 with 0 backers, and being on 0 watchlists. But this number is going to plummet pretty fast. If you are kind enough to help, please, please do.

Hi Warrick.
Thanks for your message. I've added your book Sleeping with God to my watchlist and I will read it asap. It sounds intriguing- and, of course, I always knew God was a woman! If you would return the favour, I should be grateful. My book, Under Mary's Oak, is a crime novel featuring Laura Jessop, Head of a girls' school in Newcastle who has to turn detective when she realises she has little faith in the local constabulary in the guise of DI Dave Jenkins. Hope you enjoy!
