Chris,
You might want to click on www.scribd.com/dloganw whereby David Welch interviews me regarding the North Korean situation in "Nuts in the North." This could be a good venue for your book to get Twitter exposure.

Chris,
If you’re looking for a new book to read and back (if you find it worthy), I’d be honored if you’d consider No Kiss Good-bye. It’s unlike any other story on authonomy and one that you’ll live and feel with all your senses. It’s my true-life story of escaping communist Romania along switchbacks that eventually led to America.

Here’s the link: http://www.authonomy.com/books/39263/no-kiss-good-bye. Thank you so much!

Christopher - I am reaching out to the other writers of romance fiction on this site for support. SECRETS WE KEEP has been floating in the mid-20s for months and it's time for it to move up. I hope you'll take a look and consider it for your bookshelf. It's a "marvelous romantic mystery, full of unexpected twists and turns, full-bodied characters, and a surprising ending," and I've posted the whole book so you won't be disappointed. Hope you'll give it a try, we need more romance on the ED!

Hi Chris,

We're starting a new group for mystery/crime writers on Authonomy. I thought you might be interested. The group is called Club Agatha.

About Club Agatha--starting on Monday, members will start reading the first chapter of each book listed in the OP. Each person can make their comments on the books' pages like normal, and then tell on this thread which books they've read and commented on. You can add a critique here, too, if you want but it's not required. After everyone has read the first chapter of each book (right now there are twenty books listed), we can vote on the best chapter, and then move on to chapter two if everyone is willing.

I'll try to post daily tallies of the chapters read by each member so that we'll know when everyone has completed the first round. We could even say that, after each round, the winning book will be backed by all members.

If you're interested in joining, please let me know. I'm putting together the list of books in the competition. We have a forum thread about Club Agatha. http://www.authonomy.com/forums/threads/100592/club-agatha-for-mystery-writers/

Hey there, Chris. My investigative piece ‘THE CASE OF THE DROWNING MEN: Investigating the Smiley Face Serial Murder Theory’ will be featured this month in Crime Magazine, a leading resource for followers of true crime. I’ve also previewed it on Authonomy this week. You up for solving some murders…?

(And if you hate the book, then please consider backing the other truly excellent ones on my shelf—tons of talented writers on this site who could really use some extra support!)

Kind regards to you, and best wishes—
E.R.

Hi, my name is Billy McBride and I have a new book called "The Reason for a Raisin." This book is a mish-mash assembled of deep nonsense, tongue-twisters, and repetitive onomatapoiea. The subject matter of the book conveys the nonsensical reasons behind why we sin, and why our sins make us sane, however, it rises even beyond meaning into a visionary and emotive language. It is great fun for those who persist in it's tongue-twisting madness.

Maybe, you would like to check it out?

Thank you for your comment on Dead Reckoning. I will certainly give some thought to what you say and will turn to your book just as soon as I have a moment.

Best wishes Philip John

Re Webspinner - Read my profile & get back to me if you feel like doing some real work. I don't do skims.

Thanks for the comments on Rebel Vengeance. The editing and changes you mentioned are noted! I agree and will address those when doing the final draft of the manuscript. For the moment my intention is to write the story then go back and polish it. So I really appreciate any constructive critique.

I will have a look at your books as well.

Hi Chris,
Thanks for your appreciated comment.
I had a look at your books and they appear to be the sort of thing I would like to read. However I don't read incomplete books.

Chris, thanks for the generous support with your kind words! I will of course read your book with interest! Will start in the next day or so.

Take care

Andrew

Dear Chris,
Profound apologies for this unsolicited message.
SHINING DAWN, presently ranked 8th, is a multifaceted work of science fiction set in a dystopian alternate reality. May I interest you to take a look?
Should you find it deserving, then a few days on your bookshelf can do my story a world of good.
I’ll be pleased to return the read and offer my feedback.
Sincere regards,
AGC

Magic Door knob
T.D.Holland

When Ricky’s dad goes missing, he leaves Ricky with a small brass doorknob as a reminder of their days spent together, inventing things. Quickly, Ricky discovers that this is no ordinary doorknob; in actual fact, the brass article is magic, and when placed on a flat surface, opens a portal to fantastic and different lands.

Is it easy to set up? I've had a look at Smashwords and Jottify but I dunno...

GrahamD wrote 497 days ago

Hi Chris
I see that you're an Essex boy and that it's also the settting for 'Scarlet'. Coincidentally, I've just uploaded a book of mine called 'Back from the dead', which is also set in England's flattest county. If you have time, perhaps you could take a look at it and give me some feedback. You may also be interested in another of my efforts called 'Hawkins'. It also features the British Security Service.

Question: your ebook publishing...How's it going?

I write women's adventure. Men, fear not, I do not drown my heroine's in goopy romance. Women, I do not discount it either. Recall "Eat, Pray, Love", the life and times of Queen Elizabeth, Joan of Arc, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Hermione Granger. Women have few action heroes and this is my niche. The bulk of female stars draw off memoir (real life) and nearly all have romance, rather than altruism, guide them. Feminists point out: woman is never complete without a man in fiction. Woman is portrayed as risking herself, her position and her esteem for the mere opportunity to have that one great love scene. Hence, her life is constructed around "that one relationship" and once it happens it is over. She may save the world, but it is only worth it if the man then acknowledges her. Cold Case of Annie Franklin is an adventure of empowerment and identity, perhaps unlike anything you have read yet. It is a fast-paced story I invite you peruse and rate.
Thank you for your time, Jesse
