Hi Diane,

Thanks for your comment on and backing of The Cabinet of Curiosities glad you're enjoying it! I'm not active on CHIRG at the moment, but I'm hoping to return some reads later in the year, when child #3 starts school and the baby is (hopefully) in a bit more of a routine.

Thanks again,
Adele

Hello. How are you? I would appreciate to switch comments and feedback with you! Would you be able to do the same? If you want to read the rest of the book....it is finished and on Kindle and paperback on Amazon.com. Proceeds are going to mental health facilities and burn survivors. Would you support? I am so blessed to be able to help others with my story. I hope I will be able to stop even just one person from doing something drastic like I did. I will put your book on my wl and comment:) and even back yoir book. Hope for it in return? God bless!Bethany

Good even-orning Diane,

I have been on holiday at the North Pole this week (actually I have been in Devon in the UK but it's just as cold).

Anyway, with my coat, scarf and mittens on, I have managed to upload the rest of my story about Lottie Baxter and the Fools Gold, so I thought I would let you know.

I hope you enjoy it and I would appreciate any further comments you might have.

The original 5 chapters haven't changed much.

Now where's my hot water bottle.....

Hi,

I have just finished yet another edit on my novel, Hearts and Lies and I'm looking for feedback on the story and help spotting those peskie typos all of us writers tend to over look, lol.

A little about Hearts and Lies,

He's a mob boss. She's an undercover cop. Is it love? Or is it a set up?

Sean Gianetti, trapped in the darkness of a family legacy, consumed by the shadows of his shattered heart lives the life of a modern day mobster.

Detective Jessie Cicconi gave up her dream of being an FBI agent when she married her former partner and now she wants it back. She jumps at the chance to go undercover and bring down Sean Gianetti. Odds seem to be in her favor except for her already rocky marriage that could potentially push her into the burning fires of hell in the form of the suspects arms.

Part love story, part action thriller. It's not your typical romance when the lies become the truth and the hearts desires refuse to be denied.

Looking forward to your thoughts,
Have a Blessed Day!

Hi Diane
Would you like to do a book read/comment swap?
I like to read all sorts of books. I try and give honest opinions and am prepared to receive them.
My book, "The Secret of Netley Abbey", is an easy to read children's book where three children, pursued by treasure seekers, search for the secret of a 13th century ruin. There are ghostly goings-on and a government cover-up of alien artefacts.
Regards
Charles

"yep i read 'em all i usually try to do that as you get a better feel for the whole book instead of just reading one chapter!"

Oh, I completely agree. I always try to read the whole book. I like to see the whole story.

Hi Diane,
I read that you like children stories, may I bag you to try read my book?
Everyone says that my books can capture children’s imagination and engender love of reading. The books speak directly to the child reader and are highly readable.

Thank you
L

Hello Diane,

Wow! You read all thirty-one chapters? That's amazing. Do you usually read whole books here? I think you're only the second person who's ever read "Dragonraptor" to read it all. There's still more to come too.

I know the names are confusing. I'm working on that. I think what also needs a bit of work is the relationships between the characters, but it's been hard to get advice on that.

Thanks for reading. I remember your story too and it was a fun one.

Thanks Diane,
I have joined the CHIRG forum and have commented on some books from fellow Chirgers. Is that the best way to get exposure?.

Hi Diane,

I always try to read all of a book. I can never put a story down. In the published work of "Grumblebug and Me", with the sealed parchment at the end you speak of, a reader will be able to read the rest, yes?

Ah . . . interesting that you didn't give the main character a name so she could be 'everyone'. I just hadn't seen a book that did that in a very long time. I did so love the 'Little Peep' nickname - like a tiny bird. Cute.

I'm excited that you're a fan of dinosaurs. I just want to say, since you're a childrens' author, that I've often been told by commmentors that "Dragonraptor" is a bit complex for young children. It isn't written for children, but for teens and young adults - although it does have child characters in it.
