Hello. How are you? I would appreciate to switch comments and feedback with you! Would you be able to do the same? If you want to read the rest of the book....it is finished and on Kindle and paperback on Amazon.com. Proceeds are going to mental health facilities and burn survivors. Would you support? I am so blessed to be able to help others with my story. I hope I will be able to stop even just one person from doing something drastic like I did. I will put your book on my wl and comment:)God bless!Bethany.

Hi David
Sorry to bother you, especially if I have already been asking for your support. I am currently sitting at 27 and with your help I can make it to the coveted ED. I return all reads with honest comments. If I have missed a return read for you let me know, for I am sure that I have missed someone recently. If you could shelf Mary's Magic Muffins & Other Tales for Children for a while I'd be ever so grateful, and I never forget those who have helped me.
Thanks in advance.
Brian.

David,

I recently posted my second book, “Children of Greenwich Village,” a sequel to my first, “Orphan of Greenwich Village.” Both books star George, a nine year old boy who fell through the social cracks after his mother died and lives by himself in Greenwich Village in 1953.

I’d greatly appreciate it if you took a few minutes to look at and comment on “Children of Greenwich Village.” While it is a sequel, it has been structured so you don’t need to read “Orphan” first. (I hope—feedback on this point desired!)

Hello David,

Hope you are well. Maybe you would like to try out my new satire, Doghouse Blues. Here is an endorsement:

I was attracted to Doghouse Blues from the pitch alone because it was so very different. There are so many budding writers out there who want to earn the same sort of money as J K Rowling by writing exactly the same kind of book and , to be frank, I am getting a bit tired of it.
This, on the other hand, struck me as being an original piece of work. The product of a lively mind and written by someone who is an excellent observer of the real world out there and who knows how to translate his observations into print. Just the right amount of dialogue, which carries the story along well.
I have not read the complete book (yet) but have dipped into it fairly freely to see if the momentum is maintained. It certainly is.
Philip John

Looking forward to reading your comments on the Doghouse Blues webpage.

All the best,

Clive

Hi, David—I’m writing to you because you were one of the wonderful people who backed Dianna Lanser’s book, Nothing but the Blood.

I’d like to encourage you to check out some of the other Christian books on the site while you wait expectantly for Harper Collins to send its review to Dianna. A number of our books are doing quite well in the rankings and could use the support of someone like you who appreciates novels with Christian themes.

There are a number of ways to find other Christian books.

Check the two crit groups. Dianna runs one and I run the other:
http://www.authonomy.com/forums/threads/84425/christian-critique-and-review-group/
http://www.authonomy.com/forums/threads/90961/christian-lit-forum/

There are also a few threads on which members post information about their Christian books. One is at http://www.authonomy.com/forums/threads/86222/tell-us-about-your-christian-book/. You can find others at http://www.authonomy.com/forums/24/mind-body-spirit-and-religious/.

Thank you for backing Dianna’s book.

Please i need your comment, rating and if you could kindly back it, just to help my dream as a young writer, like others have done to me. I would be glad if you would kindly read the first chapter because of your book and other books you need to respond to, but if you like mine and you want to understand it very well, you can kindly read on.

Dear David,

I’m so glad you’re supporting Dianna, I have been a fan of hers for a while and am delighted that such a fabulous book will make the desk! Andrew and Jack's books are also favourites of mine :)

As the month draws to a close, I was also wondering if you have the time to look at my book ‘The Awakening: Dawn of Destruction.’ Fantasy inspired by the real world, it has appealed to a wide range of readers on the site. After reaching the top 50 in under 2 months, any support to help with the climb would be immensely appreciated, if you deem it worthy! I attempt to provoke thought on our own society and human nature.

I do return reads, and attempt to give thorough and meaningful reviews, have been recommended on the forum :)

All the best! I hope to hear from you soon, and have a fabulous day :)

Here I’m supposed to be a writer and I can’t seem to come up with the words to express my gratitude for all the support you have given to me and Nothing But The Blood. Your kindness and patience have really blown me away. If you knew me, you would see how ordinary I am and that I am not worthy of your backing. The only thing I can say is that God, who loves us more than we could ever imagine, is not ordinary. He, for whatever reason, placed it on your heart to stick with this book for the past week, weeks and yes, even months.

I truly do pray that God will bless you and your writing endeavors in the same way that you have encouraged me. Please know that I will be here in the months to come to back, comment and promote your work. I count you a wonderful friend in whom I am indebted to.

I know there are probably 70 plus people that I owe reads to. I want you to know I will complete each one and support you fully with eventual backings. Thank you from the bottom of my very sincere heart.

I’d like to invite you to check out this thread. You and your book are recognized for all Authonomy to see. http://www.authonomy.com/forums/threads/98641/backers-of-nothing-but-the-blood-thank-you-/

It seems that when a book gets a gold medal, for being in the top 5 at the end of a month, it no longer helps your own ranking. With that in mind, could you please consider my novel to replace those winners after the end of the month? It is a great Science Fiction that is moving up the charts. My novel is called Solian Chronicles: Pluto Genesis. Thank you for your consideration and I hope you read many good books on this site.

Thanks so much for your long-term support of The Morning Drop. Hopefully I can hang onto the editor's desk till the end of May. I still owe you a return read. I'll have a look at The Burning Clock when things calm down a bit.

Hi David - just extending the hand of friendship.

I'm fairly new to the site, but I've found it to be a constructive and rewarding experience so far, though it does pay to have a thick skin sometimes.

Backing books, making friends – that seems to be the way to raise your profile, so here I am.

All the best, have a great day - Cas

PS: If you do happen to get the uncontrollable urge to look at either of my books, here are the links

Warning: both of my books contain explicit sexual acts, frequent swearing and disturbing scenes of violence. Please do not read if you are of a sensitive nature or under age in your territory.

David,

Thank you so much for the backing! I think I've introduced myself to you before because your avatar and book look really familiar. :-) I will be sure to read, comment and rate The Burning Clock as soon as I can. (Probably tomorrow - I have to work today) Have a wonderful Thursday.

Sincerely,

Hi David,

As a fellow young adult writer, I’d like to bring to mind my book, Nothing But The Blood. It has been on Authonomy for seven months now and is currently ranked at number 10, the top-ranked young adult novel.

I’m writing to see if you would consider supporting the young adult genre by either reviewing my book or making space on your shelf until it makes the top 5. If you haven’t read Nothing But The Blood yet, I think you will like its message of forgiveness in the aftermath of great evil. If you have read it and have supported it in the past, thank you!

Any form of support you can offer in the month of May would be greatly appreciated, whether it be a generous star rating, comment, or watch listing. If you do happen to back my book, could you please also watch list it? Thank you for your consideration! I will remember your kindness when it is your turn to run for the desk and I promise to return all reads in due time!

Hi, David. With the new month comes changes in shelves, so I'm messaging you about my book "Graffiti Heaven." It's set in New Zealand and follows the lives of a group of young people dealing with love, family, and tragedy. If you have time to check it out and deem it worthy of your shelf I'd greatly appreciate it as I'm planning on self-publishing it in August, and would love to get some editing tips from Harper Collins. Thank you for your time, Marita.

Hi David,
it looks like we're writing for the same age group.
Would you consider a reading swap with me?
I'm happy to receive honest feedback and to give the same, as long as there is no brutal savaging! You can read as much or as little of mine as you like. No pressure to star or back.
Let me know and I will watchlist and read in the next few days,
all the best,
Sharda.
