Amanda,
Authonomy screwed up! My book is still on the site. I just did an edit of my chapters and they wiped out all my supporters! If you would like to re-shelve my book, it would be much appreciated!
Thanks,
Thalia

Amanda - I am hoping you might take a look at my romantic suspense novel SECRETS WE KEEP. It's #24, stuck in the mid-20's doldrums for months now, so I decided to try to give it a boost by asking for support. People are saying it's polished, well written, fast moving, fun and entertaining. The whole book is posted now, so you won't be disappointed. I'd love to hear what you think of it.

Sassychick, I commented on and backed HIDDEN GODDESS two weeks ago. Wondering if you could find the time to look at mine: WHO KILLED THE PRESIDENT? Maybe star or comment or back it? I'd appreciate it a lot. Wanttobeawriter.

Amanda,

I’m coming to my friends to ask a favor. The Ark of Humanity has finally made the top 15 on the site and I was wondering if you would be able to make space on your shelf to back the book until it makes the top 5? All of your support so far has been GREATLY appreciated and I am honored to have you for a friend.

Have a wonderful day!

- Scott, The Ark of Humanity

Hey, I'm so sorry I haven't got back to you in regards with swapping. I haven't been on authonomy in almost a month, or maybe it has been that long already! Between blogging, twitter and other social media related stuff its been all a bit of a blur. I will be looking for someone to swap with...and even looking for a beta reader in the very near future...within the next month. If that's something you want to do, let me know. :)
Cheers,
Kelly

Will you fight for CUPID (god of sexual love) leading men or for LIBERTY FAIRY leading women in this greatest Third World War?

1) Hear the two greatest orations, one by CUPID and the other by LIBERTY FAIRY in the final battlefield in Third World War, and then join the battle!—read chapter: 15
2) Win a Nobel prize if you solve any of 11 unsolved riddles! Also know the darkest mystery about ‘After Death’.—read chapter: 14.
3) A golden treasure of 100 new Emerald proverbs and novel, naughty quotations on sex, sexual love, marriage, etc., read chapter: 3.
4) For the strangest ‘Preface’, never read by you till now, read the sarcastic conversation between YOU as the scathing reader and ME as the defending author in chapter: 5.
5) If you are a lover of traditional rhymed volcanic and lyric poems (like those of Alfred Tennyson), read my 37 poems in chapter: 17.
6) Within the next 10 years, all countries in the world will come under the rule of Angels Party. For 100 most revolutionary novel ideas in Election Manifesto of Angels Party, read the two most important chapters: 10 and 11.
7) For ‘Sexual Revolution for sexual ecstasy for all’ revealed by CUPID against ‘Eternal Bliss by Raja Yoga with six other Yogas and about ‘Many Evils and 3 Jails by Sex’ by LIBERTY FAIRY, read the full kindle e-book with 598 pages with 4 different RED, BLACK, GREEN and BLUE text colo(u)rs published by Amazon.com priced at $ 9 only.

Will you please echo the noble appeal of LIBERTY FAIRY to as many friends as possible?

Emerald,
Author of Third World War.

Hi, Amanda. Just passing through and was wondering if you'd be interested in swapping a chapter or two with me. Either way, have a nice day :)

Hi there, I thought I'd drop by to say hi.

I just posted My Beautiful Stalker. I'm hoping to get some feedback and in exchange, I'd read your book and back it up if I like it.

All the best,

Animal lover? If so please take a look at my book
Its a true story about a group of animals that need help

I am writing it to try and raise awareness of what is happening to them and others like them
This video goes with the book though it does contain some disturbing images:

Thanks for your message, Amanda. Very kind. I've watchlisted Hidden Goddess and hope to take a look shortly. Look forward to hearing your thoughts on Filthy Luca. Thanks again. P

Hi Amanda!

>Thank you so much, especially the backing that means so much to me. i appreciate your advice and in the next couple days im hoping to have the time to edit through my novel and i will consider what you've said.

Oh, good! Omitting extraneous modifiers is a hard habit to break, which I can tell you from painful experience. I was far worse with adverbs than most people.

One of my friends (Loretta Craig) wrote about a "new bright red Ford dual-cab F250 pickup." I told her she was allowed only one adjective along with pickup, which one did she want?

>i just wanted to let you know how much i appreciated your backing and support

You're very welcome, Amanda.

hugs, elle

My new novel, 'Filthy Luca' has risen over 5000 places in under two weeks. Can I interest you in taking a look? I am, of course, happy to return all reads.

Many thanks. P

Amanda,
My apologies for taking so long to reply. I haven't had much time for the site lately. Yes, I would be interested in doing a read swap, but I will not be available for a few more weeks. Could I message you back when I have more time to devote to your book? I would hate to not keep my end of the bargain!
Layla

Hi Amanda!

I enjoyed your novel and backed it. What an exciting introduction!

I have a suggestion to tighten writing. It sounds counterintuitive, but as you omit modifiers (adverbs and adjectives), your writing becomes more impactive. Normally I advise students to rely on more powerful verbs and nouns, but you already to that.

For example, in your chapter 1 (not the introduction which is excellent, but authonomy's section 2), if you remove the words literally, Distantly, and just, your paragraph becomes more forceful. Another gremlin is the word 'very' in the next paragraph. You don't overuse the words 'some' or 'that', so these are minor things to consider.

I love your novel and I'm happy to back it.

hugs, elle
