Thank you, Angie! Jacki is one of the best people I've met here so her recommendation means a lot to me, as does your backing. Thank you!

I'm working on trying to improve it and the updated version will come after the new year.

Thanks again, Angie.

Angie,
Have another recommendation for you: CC Brown's book Dark Side. I haven't read a lot of it, but it is great so far!!

Hope you are doing well.
Blessings girl

Hey Angie,
How's it going? Don't see you too much on here, just wanted to say hey.

I continue to look forward to whenever you have a book uploaded...

Also, if you're looking for people to support, I recommend that you take a look at Jane: Redefined (by Alice Kim) and the Withering (by Joshua Jacobs). Jane is a great YA novel and Withering is an awesome story. I have many other suggestions, but these are two deserving people :)

Blessings!
Jacki

Hi Angie. I was reading profiles to see who might want to read my book and came a cross your page. I don't often find someone as new as you on this site, welcome aboard.

This may be a little premature because you're not set up yet and I don't know what you like, so let me just make you aware of my book: A PLACE IN LIFE. It's literary fiction about the life of a boy told through a series of catastrophic events and failed relationships. When you have a chance I'd appreciate it very much if you'd take a look at a chapter or two and let me know what you think. Also remember, if it doesn't come up to your standards, all you have to do is stop reading - no strings.

In any event, many thanks for your time.

Old Bob

Angie,
Thank you so much for taking a second look at that chapter, I'm glad you found it to be smoother.

I look forward to your continued comments when I upload more.

Thanks again for your support, it means a lot to me :)

Blessings!

Hello :)

I see you are shelving a previous ED winner. I thought since they don’t need this spot anymore, I’d apply for it.

Would you like to take a look at my contemporary fantasy? Here's a link to it: http://www.authonomy.com/books/35929/the-book-of-the-forsaken-/

Rachel, the Harper Collins site administrator, has just nominated my novel, 'The Poet' as this week's 'One To Watch'. Can I interest you in taking a look?

Angie,
I haven't uploaded more chapters yet, but I made some drastic changes to ch4. Since you were concerned about the flow of this chapter, I was hoping your opinion again, see if you think it has improved. I would LOVE your input on how you think it flows now.
Thank you so much for your continued support :)

Blessings!

Hello Angie,

Thank you for backing “An Unfinished Innocence” and for posting your thoughtful comments. I work hard at getting the best possible words in the best possible order so I was very pleased by your calling the work ‘beautiful’. And I’m glad that you’re reading slowly—I try to create prose that can be savoured and that rewards repeated readings.

I will send further excerpts of “An Unfinished Innocence” to interested backers. If you’d like to read more, please let me know.

Thanks again for your support. It’s always amazing to hear from intelligent, appreciative readers.

Take care,
-john miller

You have two of my friends' book on your shelf! Tony is super-duper nice and Jacki, she's a hoot!

I would love your opinion on my novel. I've been getting a lot of slack lately for the third person omni. I don't know why some people hate it.

Thanks,
Alice

Hello Angie,

Literary fiction pushed to its limits in a strangely comic tale of a stranger intellect:

My online excerpt from “An Unfinished Innocence” explores adulterous alcoholic substance-abusing schizophrenic author/academic/columnist and accidental serial killer, Brendan Dogge, and his search for redemption with the help of a small boy and a three-legged dog. And a singular dancer, Charlotte Camarina.

You just might laugh!

Angie,
Thank you so much for the time you took to read so many chapters! I'm glad you are enjoying it and I appreciate the feedback and critiques. I noticed the same problem through those chapters and am not sure how to fix it...any suggestions?!? This is my first attempt at a novel and I'm sure it shows, but I am definitely open to fixing what needs fixing so I know better how to approach my new projects.

Any and all feedback welcome :)

Thanks again for your support, and welcome to the site.

Blessings,
Jacki

ps. you have a book of your own that you will be uploading? let me know

Nightdream wrote 593 days ago

thanks, Angie. you plan to put a book on the site?
