I don't imagine you will remember this, but a few years ago you took the time to read and comment on authonomy on my novel Crash Cole, a supernatural morality tale about a celebrity motorcyclist injured in an accident. With the passing of time and the changes in the indie publishing industry, I have just published it direct to Kindle, at Amazon UK (http://t.co/gGkXY0NhI1) and at Amazon US (http://t.co/iCJQN7F3PX) under the pseudonym of Cadell Blackstock. It's one of a number of novels I have published via KDP through my own indie publishing house, allonymbooks (allonymbooks.wordpress.com; @allonymbooks).

Firstly, I wanted to thank you for taking the time to read and review Crash then, and to offer you the chance to read and review it again now, especially if you didn't have the time or the inclination to read the whole novel when it was posted to authonomy. 'The Free' is an odd case here, since it was published first in 1986, by the class-less Hooligan Press.
I uploaded to Authonomy while rewriting on the request of a small publisher, and got a flood of useful comments (1358 so far!), but failed to reach GOLDSTARGLORY (it did get to rank 7 twice under the old system).

So I had a publisher already, but he pulled out, saying it was too long and un-commercial.
When I got over my shattered ego I finished the rewrite and published it as a free Ebook, with a 'Wordmess' blog where you can read it online thefreeonline.wordpress.com plus a 'Farcebook' page where it has almost 2000 'friends'.

Finally a year later I've put the latest 2012 edition on Createspace as a real dead tree book, and had a few sales already. http://www.amazon.com/Free-schoolgirl-herself-explosive-revolution/dp/1466409320/ref=pd_rhf_se_p_t_3
The epub edition for android is also free from the blog, but for Kindle you have to pay.

So that's it.. I did it backwards,, and now I'm back to planting potatoes
