That is one top comment, Tris, thank you!

I think you have a future as a book reviewer - very well judged observations, expertly worded.

Hi Tristram
I’m sitting here at 77, with your help I can get further towards the ED. My stories are titled ‘Tales for Children’. The title says it all really, but adults like to read them too. So if you fancy something different then please give it a try. I will read swap and give comments.
Thanks in advance
Brian.

Please don't think this is spam, because it's not. Well, that’s not quite true. I've never spammed anyone before and told it's the way to go. So I've chosen a few people to try it on. What's different between me and the others, is I used to be a duck.

Anyway, I'm digressing. If you're really bored, could you take a look at Still Waters. The story is seen through the eyes of Sam, a thirteen year old struggling with the effects of abuse, grief, and rejection. He needs to tell his story, in the only way he can.

Chris :-)
P.S. How did my first spamming attempt go?

As a 'top' talent spotter and someone with an interest in the genres I have chosen, I'd be most grateful if you could take a look at Hotel de Reves or When Death Knows Your Name. If you could look at both then my gratitude would be unbound.

If you have the time could you take a look and leave me some feedback. If you also feel it warrants further attention then please place on your bookshelf or watch list and tell your friends. If you have already received this message in the past please accept my apologies. Thanks.

Hello Tristram,

Hope you are well. Maybe you would like to try out my new satire, Doghouse Blues. Here is an endorsement:

I was attracted to Doghouse Blues from the pitch alone because it was so very different. There are so many budding writers out there who want to earn the same sort of money as J K Rowling by writing exactly the same kind of book and , to be frank, I am getting a bit tired of it.
This, on the other hand, struck me as being an original piece of work. The product of a lively mind and written by someone who is an excellent observer of the real world out there and who knows how to translate his observations into print. Just the right amount of dialogue, which carries the story along well.
I have not read the complete book (yet) but have dipped into it fairly freely to see if the momentum is maintained. It certainly is.
Philip John

Looking forward to reading your comments on the Doghouse Blues webpage.

All the best,

Clive

Greetings Tristram,
I am here to pitch my story! (I know, how cliché of me) BUT! I also want to spread some good luck wishes and congrats as I go as well!

Wow! A writer, musician and filmmaker! I wish you a world of luck and good fortune on these! It's amazing to see so many talented people! I am not sure if my Fantasy book is up your alley, but it never hurts to try ^_^ ~!

Now, here’s my pitch for my book, Demonic Knight Cedric:
http://authonomy.com/books/38168/demonic-knight-cedric/
SHORT PITCH:

Cedric must choose which is more important to him, revenge on the Dark Sorceress who made him or allowing himself to fall in love again.

LONG PITCH:

Cedric may be known as the Demonic Knight for his skills in hunting the super natural, but what most don't realize is he's just another abomination created by the Dark Sorceress Morrighan. Struggling with figuring out what exactly he is, he seeks revenge out on Morrighan in hopes of at least taking her down, even if it kills him. Gossip among the humans has forced him to take on the daunting task of picking a bride, but he quickly finds out that Angeline is not your average Lady of the Court. Both of them find themselves part of a greater plot placed in motion by Angeline's ancestor, an ancient witch and realize that there is a bigger threat than Morrighan that has its eyes on them. Epic battles against all manners of beast and demons fill this story with memorable antagonist such as Morrighan and her two sisters, Romasanta the Father of Werewolves, Incubus King Boto, Succubus Queen Lillith and many more. With each encounter Cedric struggles to decipher if the feelings he feels for Avengeline are that created by his incubine mix or truly heartfelt emotions for the girl who's lost it all to him.

Thank you for your time!
