I am honoured to have the support of one who counts the divine Jilly Cooper as a fan!
Thank you,

Choc drop made me laugh...dog treat is about the sum of it, I think. :)

Totally get the bored bit. I only tend to find myself coming over when the wind from the south gets into my teeth. ;)

Hi Juliet. Actually, it was Edentity what started the thread.http://authonomy.com/forums/threads/111031/juliet-blaxland/#AnchorPostId2963731

I suspect that creationists v evolutionists is more about pitting yourself at others of the same level of general ignorance!

Thank you, Juliet.
And thanks for all your support with the book - yours has to be one of my favourite comments too.

Take care

you were gone so long a thread started about your absence!

we suffered a (hopefully temporary) bereavment while you were away. Eric Laing retired his profile after a bout of nastiness on the forum. :-(

As like a lasting tribute to the best? That's a nice idea. Until then, I'm glad you're still fiddling with it...

Lucy Middlemass wrote 38 days ago

Hello Juliet, thank you! I'm so glad you like it. You're very kind.

I am done! My book has been edited! Read it, find yourself in my situation, compare your reaction to mine and judge if you must!

What do you do when life is too intense? When bad and good things happen without giving you a break?
When you say to yourself, ok, this is it, now I should be able to have a "normal life".... but you get hit again, and harder. There will be part two of this book, because "It can't always rain..."

Cheers, Blaxers. Hopefully sumer will be icumen in before next autumn!

God knows what HP are going to make of W&G. If they don't find it funny, I'm knackered! Comedy is more subjective than any other genre, so I'm not expecting huge acclaim from them.

Ah, spring . . . indeed. Boing. Thanks for the bumps. I have ointment for the bruises. Don't lose the plot, Juliet.

Hi Blaxers,

First a big thanks for your splendid support, you've been smashing. Hope you don't mind, but I've swapped 'Foxpop' over to my sister's shelf (it is actually her account, but I've been allowed carte blanche with creative control).

I've replaced it with 'Jack Coq.' I know you're a big admirer of Anthony's, and I love his style too. As it's his birthday, and has his lovely baby-wolf of a dog as his avatar, hope to give him a bit of a boost.

Who says us desk-makers are cold and heartless? This is the human side of us that the press rarely reports.

Hi Juliet, congratulations on becoming a high rating talent spotter, I am not sure how this thing works, I climbed to 700 but have slipped to my current rating. I am pleased however, that my book Tide and Time: At The Rock, has climbed up to the top 10. I wondered if you would consider checking it out if you have not seen it yet or supporting it if you reviewed it before, and are happy to support me with the final push. It's USP is that its fact, fiction and really useful guidance that can help challenging young people. I have had a lot of help from this site and hope a good review can help me to find somewhere I can publish it, so it can begin to help others. Thanks for your time, good luck with any work you have posted. :-)
Kindest Regards
Lenny Banks

Thank you so much, Juliet. I LOVED the byline "One for armchair-philosophers and sausophiles..." lol! J xx
p.s. my bad, but I left the " " quote marks on your comment. Would it be too much to ask you to remove them?
pps. yore virtual sossidge is on its way...

Juliet,
I've returned from a trip away to find your generous and thoughtful comment on The Rothko Room. Thank you so much; your comments on the forum are always worth reading and I value the fact that you've taken the time to offer your opinion. I certainly take the point about the 'in jokiness' of some of the early references. I'm trying to establish Arthur's character but I may have gone a little too far. The "chunks" are a way of avoiding the tedious upload procedure. The chapters themselves are very short and so I simply uploaded parts one and two. I also accept that it needs a thorough de-lousing - a process which is being undertaken at the moment. Fox Pop will be on my watchlist as soon as I close this down. Thank you once again.
Best wishes,
Russell

Hi Juliet, how are you, I hope you're well? Me, I'm not long back from India (had a lovely hols with the wife, did some buying for my business). Now I'm busy pushing my cat books on Amazon, cor it's even more time-consuming than Authonomy! I put 'Ginger the Buddha Cat' up on Monday, and was wondering if you could pretty-please post your wonderful review of it onto Amazon? There's a virtual sossidge in the post! love and thanks, Joe x

This is wot you wrote:

"The fat feline 'filosopher' and his furry friends deserve all the frou-frou and sausages that will undoubtedly be bestowed on them; so does the amusingly over-modest voice of the Sage-of-the-Star-Trek-sofa, who seems to be having great fun helping the moggies tell their story... Wise and worldly, yet wonderfully sweet and silly. Lovely."

I noticed you have several books uploaded. Is there one in particular you'd looking for feedback on?
