Hi, Driver. With the new month comes changes in shelves, so I'm messaging you about my book "Graffiti Heaven." It's set in New Zealand and follows the lives of a group of young people dealing with love, family, and tragedy. If you have time to check it out and deem it worthy of your shelf I'd greatly appreciate it as I'm planning on self-publishing it in August, and would love to get some editing tips from Harper Collins. Thank you for your time, Marita.

Morad,
If you have a record of the comment I posted on your book, feel free to quote it anywhere you want to promote it. I once tried to post a comment for someone who had self-published, but found I was unable to do so unless I made an online purchase which is something I would very seldom do. I posted too many comments to remember them and have found several on other web sites. I think it would be easier for you to quote my comment verbatim than it would be for me to try to post it myself. If I'm mistaken and I could post the comment where you have the book now without making an online purchase, I could do so if you message me with instructions. I'm always glad to find my comments posted by the authors on web sites designed to promote them. I don't purchase things on Amazon so I doubt I could post my own comment on your book anyway, but I have no recollection of what the comment was.

Congratulations on reaching such a high ranking as a Talent Spotter!

Surely you're buried by requests, but if you have time I’d so appreciate if you could read Whither Thou Goest and make any suggestions for improvements:

Unwillingly transplanted to a homestead in 1888, spoiled society girl Jem had no intention of learning to perform the work of “a domestic.” Months of mud, livestock, prairie fires, illnesses and isolation honed her into a capable woman and marriage partner with a new, heartfelt reliance on God.

But when the deadly storm “Children’s Blizzard” sweeps across the land, Jem’s confidence, her marriage, and her new-found faith are put to the ultimate test.

If you are able to take the time (and I know how crazy it is on here!) I will certainly return the read. If you look at some of my other comments, you'll see that I put a lot into them.

Though Road SIgns is doing quite well, some have commented that the pitch didn’t quite do it justice. I would very much appreciate your feedback on the polished pitch I just uploaded.

Thank you

Hello, my name is James Revino, I am the author of ‘The World Blinked.’ I was wondering if you'd take a look at it and tell me what you think. Of course, if you would rate it and back it that would be much appreciated as well. Have a good one.

As the agent of record for Malika D. Dickerson (storyteller2010), I am asking you to read and rate her work, “The Truth About Sister Henry.” If you appreciate the work, please place on your bookshelf. I will be happy to do the same for you on her behalf.
A brief synopsis of this work is below. While I know that you are quite busy, I hope that you will take a few moments to review “The Truth About Sister Henry” will see this as time very well spent. I look forward to your comments and to reading your work in return.
Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.
(If I have mistakenly sent this to you more than once, please note my sincere apology and kindly disregard the mistake.)
[She was my Aunt Linda, but most people knew her as Sister Henry. When a botched sinus surgery permanently disabled her, she began a life of physical suffering that would last more than two decades. Though she was in constant pain and lived with a collapsed lung for all of those years, she lived life encouraged. She had a way of lifting and encouraging everyone around her, even when she seemed to be dealing with more than any of us could handle. But almost two decades of loneliness, betrayal and heartache, had all conspired to bring her to the brink, teetering on that line that we all know is un-crossable.
This story centers around the night that God sent me in the spirit to the passenger seat of her car. The night she tried to commit suicide. This is the truth about Sister Henry.]

Please note that I am not asking you to back this book unless you enjoy the read and feel it worthy of your shelf.

After one year on the site and over 700 reviews, I have accepted many of the suggestions (sometimes, I admit, through gritted teeth) and Apocalypse Then is now fully edited. I believe it is ready for the desk and ask, If you find the time, that you take a look at it. If you then believe that it is good enough, please consider placing it on your desk. All the best DD ;o)

Elizabeth Wolfe wrote 901 days ago

Dear Morad,
Thank you so much for your past backing and support. My book, MEMORIES OF GLORY, is a psychological story of a troubled teenage girl, set in 1968. She sees the world changing all around her, and wonders when her turn for independence and power will come. Times may have changed, but the inner minds of teenage girls remain a mystery! Perhaps this book helps shed some light.

I’m currently in rank 10. Holding onto a top rank is harder than you might think. I am writing to ask, since you so kindly backed my book before, would you please re-back it and keep it on your shelf for as long as you can? In return, I promise to re-back your book either in the upcoming months or certainly once I’ve reached the editors desk. I plan to stay on authonomy and support you and all my friends who have written such amazing books.

I don’t mean to offend anyone - if this message annoys you, I hope you will just ignore it.

Thank you. I would greatly appreciate your help and support.
Sincerely,
Elizabeth

Once upon a time you were kind enough to back my book Apocalypse Then. After one year on the site and nearly 700 reviews I have accepted many of the suggestions (sometimes, I admit, through gritted teeth) and the work is fully edited. I believe Apocalypse Then is now ready for the desk. If you belive this to be so please consider placing it on your desk. All the best DD ;o)

Any good mystery book involves five key points: who, what, where, when, why.
Believe it or not, this is what is contained in the Bible, the greatest mystery ever written. It took around 1,500 years to complete. It has resisted the interogation of man for almost 2,000 years. Can it ever be solved?

Part of this mystery is searched out in my manuscript 'Thy Wondrous Works Volume One The Law of Moses Fulfilled'.

Would you be so kind to take a view of it?
If so, would you consider star rating and backing it?
Will gladly do the same for yours.

Thanks for your time and consideration.
Harold

I uploaded my manuscript nearly three weeks ago and I'm excited to share it with others. Here's the pitch:

When John Dillon abandons a plush, yet unfulfilling job on Wall Street, the Peace Corps sends him to a muddy mountain village in Panama where flesh-eating disease, homegrown dope, and a balding dog become his closest companions. Before long, however, John falls for Elena – a starry-eyed idealist with a strict Mormon upbringing and a startling past. John and Elena travel long distances in handmade canoes and rusted-out buses to share a precious night in the capital. And just as they adapt to their new life, their love is jeopardized by savage violence.

If you have the opportunity to read some of my work and provide me with your impressions, or if you have any suggestions how I might improve my novel, I'd be grateful.

Kind regards,

Rob

Morad. Can I interest you in a swap read?
I enjoy reviewing all genres on this site, even those that I would not normally choose to read, and always seek to provide constructive comments.
If you feel able to look at “Absence Fallacy” in return please let me know, and I will place your book on my list. It is a romantic comedy set in 1980s England - a novel of gentle observational humour.
If you have already backed/commented on my book, please accept my apologies. It is sometimes hard to keep track of everything you have seen on here!
Thanks,
Colin
