This is Part 1 of a three part message.

I want to introduce myself and the two books I have on the Authonomy website (“Reconciled” and “Sixteen Very Important Life-Lessons”). I'm new to the website, and I've just scratched the surface of what the website really is. I'm not the natural literary type, for I lack literary grace. I was born with an analytical mind. In English class grammar was easy but writing was a challenge. Eventually I became an electrical engineer. As a result of having to write technical engineering reports and evaluations, I learned to utilize a technical writing style. I became a better writer and was requested by clients to provide the technical writing services they required. Naturally, I’m primarily a nonfiction writer. (I’ve noticed there are few nonfiction authors on the Authonomy website.) I've only written one piece of fiction which is my book “Reconciled”. The book is actually a long short story as well as an allegorical story. How I came to write it remains a mystery to me.

My books fall into the genre of self-help and personal growth. My work is intended for the person who's in search of "life-meaning;" that is, the search for the realities of life. These realities include Cosmic Truth (the truth, the whole truth, the nothing but the truth, and the so help me God truth) and Cosmic Love (true, sincere and genuine love, or simply TSG Love). The love I address is primarily in the form of brotherly love. The ancient Greeks called this phileo love. I define brotherly love as “the People’s mutual active concern for the People’s mutual well-being, thus providing the maximum benefit for the maximum number of the People.” America and the whole world needs a lot more brotherly love. I sincerely believe Democracy is the latent effect of brotherly love as taught and practiced by Jesus. In my writings I address Jesus in a secular manner, but I also believe Jesus is far more than a sentient human being.

I also believe in the duality of the human being. This is the belief that your spiritual entity is somehow inserted into your corporeal body. Today, it’s popular to call the corporeal body an avatar, which is actually an ancient Hindu word. Here are some associated concepts. (1) The spirit is willing but the body is weak. (2) Does the spirit continue to live after the body dies? (3) Where shall your mind dwell at the moment of your physical death? (4) The ideology of spiritual life after physical death provides the only affective ideology that guides a person to become a positive, optimistic and hopeful Child of Humanity.

I profess to be a spiritualist, as in contrast to a religionist. However, I also profess to be a Christian, whereby I declare myself to be a 21st century Christian and a part of the quiet movement of Christianity’s Second Reformation. I prefer to believe in current scientific evidence than blindly believe in the superstitious beliefs of our ancient-ancient forefathers. I embrace all religions that pursue the Cosmic Truth and exercise Cosmic Love. I embrace all loving religions because I’m a “Democracian,” thereby respectfully honoring the greatest of all democratic freedoms – The Freedom of Religion, which is also known as The Freedom of Belief and The Freedom of the Mind. On the other hand, I despise radical and fanatical religionists who adamantly believe and preach that their religion provides the only path to God and His heavenly domain. No single religion has a monopoly on heaven and the access to God. As it has always been in the past and remains today, religious fanaticism is one of the worse curses that besiege mankind.

I hope I have sparked within your soul some interest for my work and life ideology. If you ever have an interest in nonfiction work that’s intended to advance your “good character” and to enhance your “capacity to truly love,” then please visit my two books to determine if they’re worthy of your precious time. In the far future a scientist tracing human migration uncovers strange anomalies that threaten to rewrite the history of both science and religion.

Science has remained unchanged for centuries as received wisdom. As a ‘New Scientist’ who rejects that view Peae becomes fascinated that people seem to have always migrated east. He travels the globe seeking records of original geographical discovery. In the eastern capital he meets and falls for fellow scientist Adrena and is introduced to the archive of the powerful Motherene religion but finds that even the most famous explorations appear to have been preceded.

Could people have been around for much longer than usually thought? Science has an explanation for the origins of humanity but so do the Motherenes.

What do you make of it I wonder?

This thread currently has 90,000 views. Why? I’d like to say it is because Autho users like to stop by to peruse excerpt and find new reads, but in truth, the biggest reason this thread is so popular is that people love a circus.

They love conflict and drama and this thread provides it in the form of Authonomy’s resident banned troll, Jay too/JG/JG1/Skid Chains, et al. The way it works is like this, JG thinks he is an expert and that he alone knows the proper way to write. If he comments on your writing, if you get JG’d as we say, consider it to be a bizarre initiation, or ritual hazing. Other writers will likely come to your defense and you will get more attention for your work.

While all this conflicts does draw many eyes to the thread, it also means that your opening can get lost in the shuffle. I encourage you to re-post as often as you want until you’re satisfied with the amount of feedback you have recieved.
