I know its been forever. I kinda fell off the map when I moved - I lost my Pc, my skype (finally recovered), and my sense of hope.

I hope you can forgive my absence - and more importantly that you've been writing. I've taken a great deal of solace in your words, especially when I was alone with only my thoughts for company.

Your role in giving me the nerve to bring pen to paper cannot be over-stressed. I wish I had more than the words of my fantasy to show my appreciation, but I hope you can read between the lines and find the inspiration you brought to them.

Let me know if the link expires - I'd email the thing to you if I had a contact address. Speaking of which, if you want to chat, I am back . I hope you will say 'hi' sometime.

"The Prince and the Singularity – A Circular Tale" is a book with one big advantage, one only needs to read the first 40 lines to know whether one is going to like the story or not. If after the first 40 lines you're not hooked, no need to bother reading the rest.

Hi there! I just wanted to say “hi” and introduce myself. My name is Michelle, and I am a Christian non-fiction writer here on Authonomy. I am new, but would love to help you in any way I can.

I have four books here, but would appreciate it so very much if you would take the time to comment and review just one:

http://authonomy.com/books/47250/a-woman-inspired-collection-1/

I know you may not agree with the content, and that’s okay. I would simply love your opinion on the introduction and my general writing style.

My first book is the one most readers seem to identify with, because it is born out of my life experiences. To sum it up, I would say it’s about finding the extraordinary presence of God in the ordinary course of life.

My second book is in a "Dear Abby" format, and the answers can be quite cut and dry.

My third and fourth books are in the style of daily devotionals...

But, to come and meet me and my amazing family, which I truly hope you will...you'll find us in the first book.

I hope my stories put a smile on your face today, and warmth in your heart.

Thank you so much for your time! I will review and comment on your book in return.

I also have shelf space, and if I love your book, I will shelve it and back it!

I would be honored if you backed my book! :)

Warmly,

Michelle

Hi Alex
Sounds like Life is hard sometimes. At times reading helps to escape. If you feel like it why not take a look at the first chapter of the Ghost Shirt. If you do you will discover why Little Wing and Angus need your support. You say in your profile that you like to read something that belongs in the world. Perhaps my book might not do that exactly, but 25% of any profit made if ever published is pledged to Greenpeace. Opening my brain to the world is great if we still have a world to open it to.
All reads are returned.
Thanks
D.J

Hi there – sorry to bother but I am seriously seeking some advice.

I have been on the site for a few days now and have re-written the first couple of chapters of my book according to the tons of advice received so far…My name is Craig Zerf and I currently have 2 books with my agent, Ian Drury of Sheil Land agencies. The first novel that Ian accepted was not taken up by any publishers despite having been very favourably reviewed by 2 best selling authors; Michael Marshall (The Straw Men, The Intruders, The Lonely Dead) who said that it was one of the best books that he had read in recent years, and Meg Rosoff (How I Live Now, Just In Case) who said "I think that you are a fantastic writer. The story is tragic and blood-curdling and extraordinary."

It’s very frustrating so I have opted to put it out here and try my hardest to get some unbiased advice. I would really appreciate it if you could take a look at my script (or even just the first chapter or so) and tell me what you think. Thanks ever so much – Craig (Zuffles).
THE BROKEN MEN - The best of boyhood friends, Leon and Pete, grow up in South Africa during the hatred and turmoil of the Apartheid era. Like every other white male between the ages of sixteen and sixty-five they are conscripted into the army in order to fight for the continuance of the white regime.
In this maelstrom of Apartheid and war the two friends become the most deadly of enemies. Together they are drawn into a path of death, violence and brutality that spans the oceans from Southern Africa to the United Kingdom

Hello again – thanks for being my Authonomy friend. We sure need all the friends we can get in this crazy world of literature…

If there's anything I can help out with given my limited time on-site, just give me a shout.

And if you are able to find a small space on your stylish virtual book shelf for either of my books at any time, I would be most grateful.

Keep in touch – all the best, Cas

Hello Dreamers_Disease,
My book is simply called ‘Madeline’ (Link below)
She has stolen the hearts of both women and men on this site.
In just two months is has quickly risen from obscurity to the rank of 6 and hopefully with more ‘Backings’ can progress further.
If you are not hooked by the prologue, then ditch it…
I would dearly appreciate some feedback / comments and /or a backing from you please.
Best regards
David

A classic visualization on a contemporary theme, as a sixteen year old Madeline is led into the murky world of prostitution, where she hails supreme.

Hi there - just extending the ink-stained hand of friendship.

I'm still fairly new to the site, but I've found it to be an extremely constructive and rewarding experience so far, though it does pay to have a thick skin sometimes.

Backing books, making friends – that seems to be the way to raise the profile, so here I am. It would be fantastic to hear from you.

All the best, have a great day - Cas

PS: If you do happen to get the uncontrollable urge to look at either of my books, here are the links
http://authonomy.com/books/42586/slow-poison/
http://www.authonomy.com/books/42590/bloodstones/

Slow Poison is dark and brutal, Bloodstones is a gentler read, but gets tougher as the story progresses. A little like Larsson, Welsh, Niffenegger I have been told. (…but I haven’t read any of their work yet…so you’ll have to be the judge of that…)

Dear Alex,
Mrs Maginnes is Dead is a comic murder mystery set in Edinburgh and featuring a dead landlady, a homicidal goat, byzantine gold, five certifiable sisters trying to get their hands on said gold, the spirit of Elvis, a bereft student tenant whose sole ambition is to learn to sing like said spirit, A gypsy trying to speak to the spirit of the aforementioned landlady and the aforementioned King, a valourous detective trying to put a stop all this nonsense, true love, and a purple and pink plaid couch.
It has driven many authonomites to fits of hysterical laughter. It is currently ranked in the top ten, and I am shamelessly seeking support to keep it there.
Won't you please have a look? I return all reads with witty and sometimes even helpful comments.
Best,
Maeve

Hi, Alex, I would be honored if you could spare some room on your shelf for my children’s book if you deem it worthy. Children’s books can lag behind on the site which is a shame. We’ve all been children at some time. A comment and starring would also be very helpful. I would of course repay your kindness with at least an honest comment of your own book, regardless of genre, and possibly a backing.
Thank you for your time, I really appreciate it.

Short pitch;-

However, there is a price to pay.

Dear dreamer,
I thank you very much for having backed my book. I read 12 chapters and your book has not progressed much beyond some hallucination or mental disease. You have vividly given origin and stages of such dreamy delusions. .

I am backing your book for the simple reason to advise you to club too short chapters .I will offer more comments after reding all chapters. .

The Big Bopper sounds fab and I look forward to reading it! :)

Hugs,

Hi Alex,

The Big Bopper sounds fab! I can't wait to read it!

I was just wondering if you’d perhaps be interested in taking a look at my book, Miss Manners, and consider putting me on your shelf? It would be so great if you could! :)

I'd be so grateful for your support - it would mean the absolute world to me! And it would be such an honour to be on your bookshelf!

Miss Manners has climbed the ranks from 5000 to 500 in less than 2 weeks, entered the Top 100 in under a month and the Top 20 in a month-and-a-half on the Editor's Desk chart! But with your support, we can take it all the way to the ED!!!

Here's the short pitch:

Struggling to pay bills, stuck in a dead-end job and no boyfriend, Anna wants more out of life. Could getting fired change her life forever?

I hope you had a wonderful Easter!

Dreamers Disease indeed.

For if I did not dream I would not believe I could have more,
