I laughed out loud (I refuse to write LOL. Oh, bugger.) I loved these in particular - A Woman Behaving Badly, An Unpredictably Tall Story, Aspiration, Centre Stage (gotta love that toilet humour) Culinary Delight, False Representation, Haik -who? Now Wash Your Hands, Regrets...I've had a Few, To Go Where No Man Has Gome Before, and I found Head in the Sand particularly movíng. I found myself a little irritated by your commas. I just felt there were too many of them, and I wanted to round some up and shoot them. I always think of commas as pauses where a reader needs to take a breath. Some of your poetry made me hyperventilate - and not in a good way! Are you familiar with Spoz (Giovanni Espozito)? Check out www.spoz.net - I think you'll enjoy his stuff. Bookshelving this now.

Rob, I read some of these a while back. I don't begin to understand poetry and I don't often like reading it. I like to hear it read as a performance and that's what these poems are about. that way I know I'd enjoy them. so they're going on my shelf. Ali.

Hi there, Read this aloud (though preferably not on the bus). There is great rhythm and cadence and flow to these combined with a knowing sense of humour. Poetry books can be hard to sell but there's a knowing insight here than makes it easy to read and which brings a wry smile to your lips. Especially if you read it aloud - just like all good poetry should be. Cheers, Damon

Rob, read the first dozen. Excellent in everyway. Your form, structure and rhyme is very easy on the eye and mind. This for me makes it easier to read and indeed make me want to continue reading.
