I said I would return read, so here I am... Wow, ambitious stuff. Paranormal/reglious stuff not usually my bag, but I liked all the different threads to follow (something for everyone) and any first chapter than reunites all four Beatles is alright by me!!! It developed as McGuffin that could make things a bit complicated for people at the end of days. :)

The Apple of Clareza has an intriguing and original concept which the author has clothed in highly readable, and satisfying, prose. Despite the premise of immortality or longevity the theme has credence, the dialogue is believable and the characterisation is life like. A work which causes the reader no difficulty in suspending his belief to become totally immersed in a tale well told. Robert Davidson. The Tuzla Run.

Whilst the book has religious themes, It isn't necessarily a book *about* religion as such, its about the events following a religious event. Perhaps I shouldn't place it under 'religious' category? And yes, the first line, upon reflection, is far too flippant. Yes, there are comedic moments but it should be more subtle. I'll admit I had a douglas adams moment there.
