This is great! Love the third graph especially. Just a suggestion: I would rewrite the pitch, add some graphs. It's a bit wordy, so you could tighten it up some and increase readership. I'm keeping it around because I randomly selected parts after the first chapter.

Hi Richard I read the first few pages on my Iphone while travelling and was uneasy but strongly recommed it for people who like such thrillers.

I like the opening of a book within a book, I was just about to say that there were a few things you needed to look at (like switching the second sentence around to put 'stale air' next to 'mixed with') when you came in with the reality of the storyline and your own author's critique . I have always held admiration for those who can create literature within literature that comes together as a whole efficiently and interestingly. You do a wonderful job here in wrapping the inner novel in the skin of the outer. Wonderful BACKED

BLUE ROOM This is a good story. I had some trouble in the beginning figuring out what was real and what was Jack’s novel but once I got that straight, I started to like this a lot. I’ve always thought being a sky marshal would be a good job – saw one in action once on a flight into D.C. – except I don’t like to fly. I think you’ll find a waiting audience for this who are as interested as I am in what sky marshals do as this is an inside look at one. I’m happy to add it to my shelf. Dear Richard your long pitch is so good and i believe you will attract a publisher, that being said a few paras in it would give the impression of it not being too long. this was a suggestion given to me and it served me well. i cannot quite understand the short pitch, it may be me. this is a really good book and one that is well crafted with characters that are vividly portrayed. this is not the sort of book to start reading just before bed because the desire to know what happens next will override. it should come with a sleep warning or lack of.
